My husband does not have good use of his right arm. Will the chair be steady if he puts pressure on the left arm to stand and sit?

No idea. We bought this for my mother to use in the shower, but she is able to use both hands to put equal force on the armrests. It is a sturdy chair but probably would tip without equal pressure.

I have narrow tub. Is the width 15 in. from the outside of each of the legs? Ruined a chair bcause the feet were on an angle at bottom sides of tub
