Amazing Mask! If you are comparing other masks, look no further, because this is the one! We live in Hawaii and are surrounded with many snorkeling opportunities. For the longest time we were using our household's "community" masks. They were stretched, scratched, and mismatched. Finally I gave in and purchased my own mask (hands off). Once it arrived I couldn't wait to try it out. This mask offers wide view and a very comfortable fit. Without even putting the strap over my head and just placing the mask on my face I could feel an immediate seal. The snorkel is comfortable and the whistle is an added bonus, one i hope i'll never use. Upon using for the first time I was impressed by the clarity and it never ever leaked! I also defogged it with toothpaste (google it) and applied a little anti-fog and it never fogged during my hour long dive.My husband choose to purchase the "Phantom Scuba Diving Snorkeling Freedinving Mask Snorkel Set" which was $10 cheaper. He seems to like it but the mask's lens is smaller and the quality of materials does not compare. Bottom line, go with the Promate!

Im an avid freediver. I have had many masks and this is one of the best. It fits well and is very comfortable. The price for this mask is amazing. Im a fan of the older type of snorkels but this snorkel is probably preferred by other people. The snorkel has a valve so you can blow water out the bottom and has a floater piece that keeps water out even when the snorkel is submerged under water.The only negative point about this mask is that it does fog up. HOWEVER, as another reviewer mentioned, after a single scrub with toothpaste (google the process), the scratch resistant cover came off and they have never fogged again. I cant even get them to fog now when I breath directly on them.I would highly recommend this mask and snorkel, especially after using the toothpaste. You can't beat this quality for the price.

Received my ProMate snorkel items today from GetWetStore. After opening the box it is immediately apparent that the quality is top notch. Can't wait to try them out in the Caribbean! btw, better pricing through Amazon than GetWetStore's website.

I had a bad experience with this product. I bought this product and the Cressi snorkeling mask/snorkel set at the same time before traveling to St. Johns for vacation. They were the same price ($40). Instead of getting two of the same, I decided to get one of each and compare and decide which one was better. The Cressi is the better setup by far. The Promate mask is not as comfortable on my fiance's or my face, especially in between your eyes and around the nose. This mask also tended to leak. It only takes a little bit of water in the mask before your nostrils are tingling because they are soaking in salt water. Mask did fog, but that is most likely due to poor defogging treatment. The snorkel was worse than the mask. The "dry" function simply did not work. If I dove more than 3ft under, the snorkel filled up and I would have to expel the water once I returned to the surface. When you try to breath in at any intensity above a resting one, the dry feature would be sucked close and you get no air. On several occasions my fiance and I would have to remove the snorkel from our mouth to breath because we were exhausted from having just held our breath for a minute or so. This issue never once happened with the cressi snorkel. The Cressi's dry feature also worked flawlessly. We dove to about 12ft with no issue. Simply begin breathing once you have surfaced. I returned the Promate and will purchase a second Cressi package.

I bought two sets of these scuba masks and snorkels for my boyfriend and me. We took them with us to Puerto Rico. They work great and seal very well without being too tight or uncomfortable. They work much better than other masks I've used that are provided to you on snorkeling trips. The snorkels are great because you can take them underwater without them filling up so you don't have to blow any water out after you resurface. They're a great investment, especially since they aren't too expensive but are high quality.

Very, very satisfied with this mask. Bought this for myself for a trip to Hawaii with my wife. Mask does not fog, fits our faces very well, and the snorkel is bone dry at all times, even in some larger waves. It is far inferior, to the point where I plan to toss it and purchase another one of these Promate Raven Frameless Masks for our next trip.

I purchased two of these scuba kits and have used them several times - most recently, on our trip to Thailand. While I have had a great experience, my boyfriend finds that his mask consistently fogs up regardless of how well it is fitting on his face. Frustrating for him. For me, I love the panoramic views and the dry aspect of the tube.

As most know, masks are usually about your face. This one is not accommodating to my larger than average nose. The bottom seals, but sometimes the seal was broken when skin diving to a depth of 10 feet or more.Snorkel is amazing. It only filled with water once while I was skin diving for 3 days. Highly recommend the snorkel, but you should go to a regular dive shop and find a mask that fits right.
