Great sticks , good value
The best , only sticks I would use. Been using them for many years. I’m comfortable playing with them. But all drummers have their personal preference.

Best so far
These are by far the best sticks I’ve tried. Before these, I used the Promark 747s. I have also used Vater, Regal Tip, Ahead, and Zildjian sticks in the past, and these are the best by far! These have the length, balance, and forgiveness that the 747s used to have before they changed manufacturing process. These usually last me 10 hours of play. In the pictures, you can see that I play the rim a good bit, and they they last long enough for the butt to get seasoned with hand oils. Promarks simply would not last that long- they usually failed at the neck or tip region before I could break them in. The usual place these sticks fail are at the shoulder after extensive abuse. The acorn tips (I prefer the brightness of nylon) give nice warmth, definition, and feel for nice articulate sticking. The longer length (roughly 16-1/2”) give more range options for rim shots and shoulder strikes and provide better balance and feel. No stick is “perfect”- but these are pretty darn close.

Great drumsticks. Balanced and the tone was matched.
There is nothing better than straight, evenly weighted drumsticks. I roll-tested them, and they both had the same even sound when checking them on a hard surface. There is nothing worse than having one strike sound different than the other strike when you are a serious player.

Best all around sticks
Always been my preferred stick choice. The nylon tip rolls so much smoother in my opinion. I play drums in my church usually 2 or 3 times a week. I get a lot of mileage out of these sticks before I need to replace them. Great value

Good Sticks, Grip, Extra Reach. Just: Seem to Wear Earlier than Usual?
While a bit odd at first? they will “stick” (heh) to your hands a bit more. But fr. If your technique is developing, and you are loose with your grip? You should- be dropping a stick every now and then. That’s what my drum mentor who is a seasoned jazz/metal expert has told me when he had me take a few lessons with him again, because I was basically self-taught. I had to redo my technique from the ground up. That being said. I will say that these sticks did kind of chop away really really quickly? Now maybe it’s because I am gigging more lately and I’m grateful to have been doing so? But it seems like they don’t hold up as well as the non-coated sticks :-/ unhappy about that. That is why 4 instead of 5 stars!. I got “5A extremes” without the glaze finish and they haven’t worn off all the lettering, logos, and all in same time frame? So That’s just something to keep in mind. Just my experience. But the slight longer size and glaze is great for me being a 6’5”, large handed Drummer that happens to play range from light jazz to Church gigs to alternative rock! Hope that kinda helps,? Peace ☮️!

I liked the length of these . It’s only a tiny bit longer but you can definitely feel the difference . I am tall and long legged which keeps the drums at a distance . With the added length it feels like more power is striking the drum head. It’s like the final snap when u cast a fishing rod . The end of the whip.

But it fits well in hands and the feel is great.

These are recommended for use on mesh style electric kits, which is why I bought them. They also have much less lacquer or varnish on them so they are gripper than the wood tip ones I tried previously.

Amazing sticks,,, vic firth had proved it once again,, quality product and durable too, no words to describe,, was using 5A but these are much more lighter that normal 5A’s,, gives you so much power and feel on the drum kit, weather it is acoustic or electric.. so glad to have them.. everybody should try these sticks..
