I needed a music stand for when I started giving lessons, and I didn't want a metal music stand sitting in my living room. This stand is beautiful, looks like a piece of furniture, it is high quality, and it was very easy to assemble.

The color and quality of the wood is really good. We place it in the formal as it looks much better than the regular metal stand.

Poorly manufactured. All 3 legs were defective as well as the piece that the legs slide into. Contacted Touch of Class (seller) as directed by Amazon hoping that I could get replacement parts. The Touch of Class customer service was appalling. They were absolutely worthless and wanted nothing to do with customer support of their product. Their response was that it wasn't their problem, no apology, no "I'm sorry this happened, how can we make it right?". Nothing. When I started the return process, Amazon directed me to contact Touch of Class and that they were responsible for their product. I'm returning it to Amazon. I will never buy anything from this seller again. Waste of time, waste of money.

Like style and sturdiness. Would like to be able to lower stand more.

The stand came in 3 parts plus the legs which fit in the small base piece by sliding them into a dovetail slot. That fit was not precise and the legs are not firm. The next issue is more serious as the main body screws into the base which had a screw inserted . The screw was loose so you could not tighten the unit. Instead of sending it back I opted to reflux the screw. Overall the stand looks just ok but it is not that stable and I would not purchase this item again. The finish of the wood was fine. It is also top heavy so not good if you have little ones.( we don't)m Amazon refuses to take it back or replace it . Disappointed long time Amazon Customer AJChip
