Excellent if you have a bit of care in application.
The film is super sticky and very easy to use. its made of acrylic which is also flexible, and can be cut with ease with a pair of large home scissors. If you cut with a bit of care to have enough extra on all the edges it sticks well. Just keep a few other things in mind while using: 1. Dust, clean and dry the light casing where you plan to stick the film. 2. If you plan on using it on a curved surface prepare it for the curve, by gently curving in the direction you want it to curve. Dont use too much pressure or try to fold it, the acryllic will break; 3. use a felt pen to trace the outline (including the extra bits for sticking it), so that cutting is easier. Plus use a marker that you can wipe off later :P Entire operation took only 15 minutes, and leaves the light protected from water and air.

Is this really right product to use cracks for tail lamps....
Totally disappointed with 3M product which was not expected...it is not even sticking properly to tail glass...forget protection...

Hi, I am sorry to say that this product from 3M is not at all good. Stricker came out with 36 hrs . Wasted my money for the very first time in Amazon..please pass on this feedback to 3 M Regards Santhosh Kandangath --

MRP of the product is Rs 700 but it is being sold at Rs 950. Thinking about going to consumer forum against Amazon.in . Is MRP not applicable for online sellers

This is easy to apply and really stays on. I had a fix-it ticket for a broken tail light and it was going to cost a ton to replace the light. I applied this, following the directions, which only took a few minutes. The police signed off on the ticket, mentioning they had never seen this before but that it satisfied the requirements for the repair. The film is waterproof and has stayed on perfectly for several years!

Did exactly what I needed it to do in the few weeks before I found a replacement taillight. Very happy with this product.

It's a very thick plastic so be prepared to use a heavy-duty (tin snips) cutter. Also, after a couple days in the SO.Cal summer desert heat, it got soft and warped a bit. This plastic is best for (very) temporary repairs. The adhesive is as good as expected, the amber color is true and uniform and the plastic served to keep out water at the car wash, but the more you have to bend it, the less likely it is to hold its shape in the heat.
