These organic, non-GMO green lentils have been producing sprouts very well even in hot, humid weather by rinsing and draining well four times a day around the clock. Then I lightly steam cook them for safety and improved flavor.

I bought these lentils to sprout I feed to my chickens. They sprouted quickly (within 3 days) and the chickens loved them. I also used about a cup for fresh lentil soup. Turned out great. The lentils cooked good and had a good taste. Big bad and great value for the money.

I appreciate that they're affirmatively labeled gluten-free for the celiacs among us. Canadians can buy directly from Yupik's own website, but U.S. customers can only buy through here. A good American alternative is Camellia, which sells directly in small bags or much bigger ones (25 lbs.).
