First off, I need to say that they wanted me to leave a star rating on the motion detection. There is no motion detection! It has an ambient light sensor. When there is ample light available they are to turn themselves off.I've tried other night lights that have the same feature and they did not all perform as well as these did for me. You only need the light when you NEED the light! These did a whole lot better than others I tried. The ambient light sensor should not be any more or less sensitive than the amount of light that the unit produces. The light should turn itself off when it no longer serves a purpose.Directing you to the included photos, which were taken with an actual camera (instead of some stupid phone, which in no way is any sort of a camera). These photos will depict a more accurate display of what kind of light these produce.I have one in each bathroom and they produce enough light to "hit the pot" in the middle of the night and even see your reflection in the mirror to check your hair if you want to. I also have them strategically placed around the house where it is very easy to navigate your way around in the dark without having to turn on any other higher wattage lighting.The other two photos are in the kitchen and the dog's feeding area. Now this is cool... I can feed the dog and I don't have to keep the kitchen light on for him while he chows down. Plus it lights up one of the pathways to the kitchen. Another cool thing is that when I open the refrigerator, the sensors are so sensitive to the amount of light they produce that they fade out from the refrigerator light coming on and come back when I close it. "Nice!"I can't say enough about them. They are working out beautifully for me and I would hope they will do others just as much "justice" as I am experiencing.Very nice purchase for me and I am navigating a pitch black house in the darkness for less than a mere 10 watts of electrical consumption. Like I said. This is a review that I am more than thrilled to make. I have only a couple of days experience with these and I cannot offer an opinion on longevity. But I would guess that if they perform this well and are LED... they are probably fantastic in that respect as well.

I bought these lights in October 2021. I was slightly skeptical but decided to try them based on all of the good reviews. I needed night lights everywhere. They shipped quickly and I plugged them in as soon as I got them. They worked great so I immediately ordered another batch. I have them all over the place. They are bright enough to see where you are going and what you are doing at night. They turn on by themselves as soon as it gets dark enough near where they are, and then they turn off when it’s bright enough. They have now all lasted until February 2023, so a year and four months. I highly recommend them!

I ordered these as my husband has problems seeing in the dark. He loves them and is able to maneuver without having to turn any lights on. For me, they are almost too bright for a nightlight.PROS: bright for those that have night vision issues, is sensitive to faint light and adjust brightness accordingly automatically, small and only takes up one outlet if used in top plugCONS: Kind of too bright - although somewhat directional downwards, the LED bulb is still noticeable if used in a higher outlet like in kitchen or bathroom counter outlets (and you are sitting or laying down). Suggest they design to bury the bulb further into the housing to allow their plastic shell to diffuse the light. Also I wish there was a way to set it to a dimmer setting for like the bathroom where the mirrors seem to amplify the light and spills into the bedroom.

Great path light if you are lucky to have outlets along your path. Directional light was more handy than I thought. As a light light it creates ambient light instead of an annoying point of light in the dark. As directional light I can determine if the light shines up or down depending how low the outlet is. That's possible because the prongs are not polarized so you could flip it around. If you have horizontally mounted outlets this is NOT for you because the light will shine left or right. Might work if you don't mind that. If they update this product it would be nice to be able to rotate it for horizontal outlets or just tweaking the angle just so. The intensity of the light varies depending on the ambient light. There's not much on the inside of these things. The pictured one popped open having fallen on tiled floor. After 3 months 1 of the 4 burned out. It was warm and had a burnt smell. It was not the one that popped open. This has no motion sensing so didn't rate that metric. Good buy so far despite one burning out. May change this review if more burn out.

These lights work great and give off the perfect amount of light! My original review gave this product 1 star because I thought none of the lights that I purchased, worked. I was wrong, I had blown a fuse and didn't realize it, ugh! Before I had determined the problem (me), I contacted Vont customer support and reamed them out for selling such a poor product. Vont customer service couldn't have been more helpful. They sent out a replacement pack immediately and followed up with me to see if I was satisfied. Well. I am extremely satisfied. These are the greatest nightlights and the price is very reasonable. Highly recommend - just make sure your outlets work before trying them (admittedly, nobody probably needs that reminder except me!)

Love, love, love these lights! I was so very pleased how these motion sensored solar lights gave off the right amount of brightness at night, a nice soft glow that did not interrupt sleep. My husband commented how aesthetically appealing and upscaled they looked. He was so very surprised when I told him how affordable they were. They were so very easy to plug in and convenient to use. All we had to do were watch it brighten the room when the sun went down and/or the plugged in area darkened. With the extra lights included, I was able to wonderfully provide light in the hallways which was a welcoming addition to security and protection when navigating around the home at night.
