These are very sturdy! I'm certain we've all had the experience of a cotton swab that disintegrates if humidity exists near it, but these hold up exceptionally well no matter what substance touches them. Their small size makes them excellent at other smaller non-baby tasks - cleaning your keyboard, that part at the back of your keyboard where it connects to your laptop that you forgot, very small engines and other mechanical objects with tight corners, and even your ear. In fact, they excel at the ear tasks! Running a bit low, so will be buying again. Excellent price, excellent buy.

I've been using these to clean my sphynx kitten's ears and they work SO well! I use a cat ear cleaning solution with them and they make it so easy to scoop out all of the gunk.

i ordered these to use to clean a fresh nose piercing, using normal cotton swabs was too painful since it required me to lift the jewelry in order to clean my skin and the metal post. these swabs are perfect for a new nose stud, the spiral end works for cleaning the inside of my nose and the pointed end makes it less painful to clean the outside, since i don't have to lift the jewelry as much. If you're looking for a swab to clean new piercings, i'd recommend these :)

I ordered these in my search for an ear swab that would protect your ears while still cleaning them. THESE ARE NOT THE TIPS YOU ARE LOOKING FOR. They may be fine for delicate make up work but as an ear swab - awful.
