Lots of flat pack furniture comes with plastic adjustable shelf pegs. The plastic pegs are not strong or durable and shelves can come crashing down. These strong metal pins can replace the plastic pegs. They are better designed to bear weight, strong, and long lasting.

These shelf supports are a god send once you lose an IKEA shelf peg. You are required to drill a slightly larger hole, but they do supply you with the right size drill bit to do so. Fixed my shelf problems ASAP.

Awesome product! I had a kitchen shelf that wouldn’t stay put with the crummy plastic pegs that came with it. I used the large “L” shaped metal ones for replacements and now the shelf is solid as a rock! Amazing how the small things can be the most irritating- I highly recommend these supports.

We bought these because the ones that came with the shelves were too loose and we had items break when it fell down. These worked well and we were able to chose ones to fit our shelves from the different choices. Also, there was the proper sized drill bit included to assure proper fit, and all came in a convenient plastic case so the ones we did not use we can keep for later with the drill bit. these would work great for a new build. I was looking to replace missing supports in a bookshelf. these were too small and fell out of the holes. will be returning.
