Maui JimMen's and Women's Makaha Polarized Rimless Reading Sunglasses

The Maui Jim reading glasses (bifocal) are outstanding, as has been my experience with them for many years with various sunglasses.Great for patio reading, outdoor restaurants, driving and seeing the smaller details of the dashboard more clearly, walking and needing to see your phone…..and more uses I’m sure! Would definitely buy again.

Truly, the best polarized sunglasses on the planet. Would buy 100 times over. You can’t go wrong with Maui Jim’s. Great sunglasses. They are the only ones I’ve purchased over the last 20 years and will definitely stand behind that.UPDATE: Another pair of Maui Jim’s. I’ve never lost a pair, until my most recent pair requiring me to replace them. As I’ve gotten older, I’ve been buying the frames with readers available. They actually area/window of bifocal is relatively small and, although some have rightfully complained about it, I’m glad the option is available. It’s usually sufficient to allow me to respond to an email or text and not have to switch glasses. Really at this point, they should just send me a free pair every year.

I bought these to replace another pair of Maui Jim glasses I lost. The minute these arrived, I found the old pair!I have several pairs--different styles-- and only buy Maui Jim because of the clarity, quality, and fit. This pair has the little readers which are convenient when I go biking and need to check my watch for time and distance.

I'm very disappointed in the finish on the glass of these Maui Jim sunglasses. I have owned many pairs of this same style, color and polarization and never experienced this before. They are five months old and unwearable for any sports. I would like to return them however I am past the return date.Too bad they have always been my favorites.

Can't manage life without them. Have worn these for about 10 years. Can read my map or phone on a sunny ski lift, read a book by the pool but also look across at a distance without the nausea of a fill sunglass lens reader. Can read directions on my phone in the car. The list goes on. Can't give 5 star because about every 2 years the lens breaks at the temple. Even with great warranty service still costs $$. Worth that hassle though!

As an aging guy, I need to wear reading glasses to read print on flyers, menus, etc. These combination sunglasses/reading glasses do a great job of doing both. They're a little pricey, but it's better than carrying a separate pair of reading glasses everywhere I go.

Once you wear Maui Jim, you will never find another pair of sunglasses that you will like as well. I chose ones with readers which you forget about until you have to read something and are grateful they are there. I love Maui Jim because you can look at a pool of water and simply see the color of the water. If you put on the sunglasses, all of a sudden you can see fish, rocks and other amazing details. Take them off and the details disappear.

Lens will come apart/break by top screw eventually. I've owned 3 pairs of these and the lens always breaks there after about 8-12 months. They replaced them all but it's is not free to do this even under warranty. Charge a service fee and you have to ship back. I've owned ray bans that this never happen to. Just a pain to keep returning for repair. You have to be VERY careful when you clean them They are very fragile where the lens and screw are drilled in. They are light weight and that probably contributes to the breaking issue. Clean them very very gentle or in time they will break! Your might be broken already and its just hasn't slipped out yet. The screw will still hold the lenses in.
