I haven't used castor oil before. This brand was recommended by a plastic surgeon who has a popular YouTube series on skin care - he likes this brand because it's organic and hexane-free. The oil is quite thick, which I was not expecting (I may mix it with a thinner oil). It can be difficult to pull on leggings or slim fitting clothes after putting the oil on. I use it on my body after showering (especially on my dry legs, ankles/feet and on my toenails/cuticles. I also use it mixed with organic rosehip oil on my face. I find it a bit too thick to use for facial moisturizing on its own. Overall, it does leave my skin feeling hydrated and moisturized.

I read that this would be a good oil for my high porosity hair (to help keep moisture in and excess water out of my strands) and I feel like it will be once I figure out the correct amount to use. This particular product is a great deal for the money. It shipped fast. It's more lightweight than coconut oil and has no smell which is nice because you can add your own smelly good oils in there. So far my hair likes it too!

Works great

66 year old female with normal to dry, eczema prone skin. This stuff is just the absolute best. I use it daily with my jade roller and stone. (photos #1 and #6) I rinse it off with a microfiber cloth and warm water. Photos #2 and #3 show my bare skin immediately after, before applying any skin care products. It leaves my skin supple, soft and feeling moisturized. I also use it in my brows at night, and it helps to keep them full . (photo #4). Photo #5 shows that I do not even bother to wear foundation any more, nor does it interfere with my skin care products or makeup. I have also used on my lashes, and a bare spot from lash glue grew back without me even monitoring the regrowth. I also use it my DIY hair oil, as well as use in place of make up removing cleansing oil. When I purchase lip balm and it is not moisturizing enough, I dump the product into a small container, add this oil, microwave for about 1 minute or less, and pour it back into the original container. It makes the perfect balm. The uses are endless. It has never once aggravated my eczema. It is very thick, so little product is needed. For me, this product is a must have!

Mixed this with water and dish soap which proved effective in organically killing off lantern flies in all their stages. This Neem oil seemed to be good quality with a mild odor and nice consistency.

A great skin oil. This brand is quite clean and pure. It melts at about 75f degrees. It can melt and solidify with no issues. I do keep in a cooler spot in my apartment because natural organic oils last longer in a cooler environment. If your home is really warm - over 78 or keep oils in a sunny ares you might take out enough for a few weeks and put the rest in a cool spot. Babassu is also a great oil to blend with other oils.
