Not the intended use, but my husband was looking for an alternative to traditional construction pencils that need to be sharpened with a knife, or markers that dull out, or dry out if you lose the cap while working on construction projects. He had resorted to using a mechanical lead pencil, but this had its downside as well, as the lead tends to break very easily when marking over wood or other rough surfaces. That’s when this product came to mind. I had one of these laying around at home, that my brother had used in a drafting course he took probably 20 years ago, and felt this might work perfectly. It absolutely does. This is the best construction marking pencil product I have found, and I came on here to purchase more so that we could keep them in different parts of the home. He rarely needs to reach for a marker or other writing tool while working on projects. The lead is thick enough it doesn’t break and can handle rough surfaces, yet the tip is fine enough he can get into small screw holes to mark pilot holes, and the lead can be extended to fit deeper, hard to reach spaces. Also a pro that the sharpener is built in, so you’re not searching for something to sharpen this with. My husband and I both highly approve, even though it’s not what this pencil is made for.

From writing, drawing, drafting, to construction, these are the best pencils. I have tried all different kinds of lead holders and I like these the best. The feel is good and lead writes really well!

Great price and quantity product

I’ve tried other brands, and they seem to break easily. Not these! I use them both for drawing with graphite, and I insert pieces of silver wire that I sharpen into a point, for silver point drawing.

These are a good value as a set. They are lighter and less substantial than lead holders from 30 and 40 years ago. The knurling is quite sharp and could have been buffed better before plating. It would also be nice to have the ability to identify the lead in holder.

I bought these to hold the colored leads from broken a Pentel Multi 8 pencil. The fit is right, and I actually like having the colors in separate holders. They also work great with the graphite leads that came with them. I'm happy so far.

These are my absolute favourite pencil! Comes in tons of leads and has an indicator on the top to keep track. Leads are sturdy but the internal sharpener is very effective at creating a fine point.

La marca por sí sola es sinónimo de calidad, y si son 5 a un excelente precio ¡¡¡mucho mejor!!! LLegaron antes de la fecha prevista, hace falta que lo empaqueten mejor porque vienen en una caja de unicel y mica, pero ésta llegó rota.
