Kleenbore Gun Care Lead Away Patches

Been using this product for awhile now. Seems to be perfect, always gets the lead out without all the work. Great deal on them, so I stocked up. I prefer the smaller squares as opposed to getting the large cloth, easier to clean with.

I have always used these patches on my revolvers and they are excellent for heavy fouling around the front of the cylinder. The product is usually great but when I received them the product was loose inside the shipping box and all the patches had come out and dried up and are useless now. They issued a refund with no problem. 5 stars for the product 2 stars for the shipping. They need to be taped shut or wrapped in bubble or shrink wrap.

Works as advertised. I had some fouling on my S&W .44 revolver cylinder face and this took care of it pretty easily. I only use it once in a while (every couple months or so). I also use it for other carbon/lead buildup sensitive firearms such as my Desert Eagle. Makes cleaning a cinch. Make sure you wear gloves while using these!

Recently purchased a couple of stainless steel revolvers which really show the powder blast residue at the cylinder face. I had tried some of the more standard approaches to cleaning the residue but had little success. The Lead Away patches work immediately and completely cleaned the residue from the barrel, cylinders and cylinder face. The guns looked like new. Just a caution that these patches are NOT to be used on blued guns.

I ordered these to clean leading out of a .44. Trouble is, these are itty bitty patches better suited for a .22. Unfortunately, nowhere does it say that. If you're going to buy these mail-order, that's a fatal flaw. I had to double up patches to fit the bore, so I really got half the patches I paid for. They wipe lead away, little by little, but they should be at least 1.5" x 1.5" or 2" x 2" to work in larger calibers,

The solvent in the patches is the cat's meow for lead removal. The problem is that one pack of these patches is not adequate for a single barrel with lead issues. Buy the same product in the Gun Cloth version and you are set to go.

I cleaned my Savage and my Mosin and thought they were clean. Then I ran some of these Lead Away patches through the bores and out came some (a lot...several patches worth) of black goo. I used the same patch until it was full of gunk and then ran a wire brush through for 10 strokes. After about 3 patches for each barrel, they were clean. Only some slight grayness on the patch. Then I used a bore squeege which I got here at Amazon and pulled from chamber to muzzle and the squeege pulled out all liquid residue from the bore and deposited it on a towel held at the muzzle for that purpose. The result is a squeaky clean bore. I oiled the bore and now feel secure it is as clean and safe from rust and corrosion as I can make it short of drenching it in cosmoline. I highly recommend this product, as well as the full sized gun cloth that goes by the same name: Kleen Bore Lead Away Cloth/Patches.

Klappt sehr gut, alter Schmauch ging ohne Probleme weg. einzig die größe der Tücher fällt klein aus, aber das steht ja in der Beschreibung. Reinigungswirkung ist der Hammer, nur sollte man besser Gummihandschuhe tragen beim benutzen.

Sehr gute Wirkung für Revolver. Sowohl die Trommel als auch der Abzug kann super gereinigt werden. Für eine komplette Revolver reinigung benötigt man je nach Schmutzgrad zwischen einem und drei.
