I had ordered on the 27th of November from Japan and received it on December 5th. Just 8 days! I did not expect this fast. The product itself is perfect for my students who study English as a second language. They can learn not only sight words but also English word order. The plastic-coated cards allow us to write on with a marker for whiteboards and erase with tissue paper. My students love activity with write-on wipe-off cards. If I could, I would give more than 5 stars.

These are great for kindergarteners who are starting to read. I bought these to keep my son busy while we are on lockdown for COVID19. Schools aren’t prepared for a sudden closure that’s why we had to get our own resource. I’m glad I found these because these are what they are currently learning before the lockdown.

There are a lot of cards in this pack, the sentences are very good and the pictures are cute. This is great for someone learning to read.

Very impressed with the different sentences, 1,000 and all different. Great for summer practice.

Taking the first hundred cards out of the first box I noticed that there seemed to be some cards missing but they were simply stuck together. Finding the third hundred cards was not automatic for one end of the outside of its box is mislabeled. The sentences are numbered in order of the Fry words used in the sentence or very close to the Fry number (many are one number off). All in all the sentence strips are very readable and memorable for students with large-size font and a picture. When I decided to pull the sentence cards I am going to use this week I found that card #111 used “live” as a decodable sight word instead of a non-phonetic sight word that I was hoping for. Although this product is a time saver, I will always have to double check the numbers on the sentence strip cards and the number on the third hundred box as well as how the sight word is used in the sentence. In summary, it does not save me as much time as I thought it was going to save me.

I wanted to love these but many of the words are harder than the sight words I’m trying to teach my son. Coming up against that in the very first pack didn’t make sense to me and it makes him feel defeated. Get the Gamenote sight words flash cards instead!

These are really good to get your little one started to read and study. For first time it may be a little tough for kids to sit and go through. But eventually they will start liking it. The cards are 2 sided printed. So each deck has 50 each making it 100.

These are superb quality. They appear to be laminated and are flexible without tearing or deforming. They were as pictured, working well for sight word practice.
