Brilliant Little Gadget - Highly Recommend
As a motorcyclist that didn’t want to spend a King’s Ransom on a motorcycle GPS or ruin the aesthetic of a classic bike, the Beeline is perfect. It is small, easily set up through the app (which you must use but very intuitive/user friendly) and quickly removable. It comes with a basic mount, which is perfectly suitable (although upgrades are available). Directions are basic but very clear. I led a ride out in Wales on unfamiliar roads and only had one slight hiccup with a newly installed mini-roundabout not yet being on the mapping. Otherwise all good, no issues and no unexpected/unplanned diversions! Directions are clear without any distracting, superfluous info that a regular GPS has. Missing speed limits, but this encourages more mindful riding! If you are a cyclist, the motorcycle version can switch between the two modes, which is a huge plus. Really impressed with the Beeline and will use on my adventure bike, which has in-built GPS. It is unobtrusive and basic but really nicely balanced between informing but not distracting. Easy 5* award!

A cool satnav, when it works. - Updated
In theory, this is a great item. Light, pocketable, simple to mount on a motorcycle. The style of navigation is less distracting than a full size satnav and fits well with someone going on fewer longer rides who likes exploring. If you are an around the world biker, then this probably isn't the satnav for you. The problem for me, and the reason for my poor review, is that I have a 2 year old non-flagship Android phone. The Beeline paired with this no problem when I took it out of the box. The first time I used it to go for a ride it wouldn't pair straight away. After 20 minutes of messing about with settings everything seemed to work, taking me to the location I needed and home. A few weeks later, I've gone to turn it on and again it would not pair. After an hour of messing about with resetting, etc everything seemed to work again. I clicked on "where to" on the app and it crashes... no amount of reinstalling software seems to fix this. Updated 17th July 2020 I originally gave this 2/5 but I have since bought a new phone with the latest version of Bluetooth and everything is now working as it should - it is only fair to Beeline that I improve the rating. Now it is working properly, I've used it to navigate to places I wasn't quite sure of and recently I've had the chance to use this to find a few locations where I had no clue where I was going. The Beeline got me there, but it is more difficult to follow than a regular Satnav where you can glance at a map. If is great on fast A or B roads with large clear junctions, and likewise it is good where there are lots of roundabouts - these instructions are easy to follow. (I managed to find a location in central Coventry with only a couple of wrong turns; this might sound bad, but it actually my best result with any Satnav in Coventry!) It is trickier to understand where there are junctions close together. If you have a vague idea where you are going it does make things easier, so studying the route for a few minutes before you leave is good advice. The App that runs on your phone is excellent, but not entirely intuitive. It is essential to watch the videos on Beeline's website to get the best out of the App. It does let you include waypoints on routes and import gpx files, which are both handy. I can confirm that the unit is entirely waterproof in torrential rain (thank you British summer) and I don't know how long the battery lasts because I've yet to run it flat, even when using it all day. It charges quickly. Sorry Beeline - you still lose 1 star because I needed a new phone to make the Moto work. I would now highly recommend it.

Changed my motorcylcle exploration trips for ever
It’s chunky, solid and safe on the mirror clip I bought with it and it work so well with a battery charge that will last any trip you want to do. It takes a bit of getting used to but the designers have really thought through exactly what you need to see for directions on a bike. Finer details like navigating to an exact house are tricky at first but keep practicing because it’s perfect. I had a bit of trouble maintains the Bluetooth connection when I stopped for breaks but I learned not to bother pausing it and to un lip it from the bike when popping into a cafe or something. It was me not the device so stick with it. This is an excellent product.

Brilliant innovative bit of kit. Love it!
The Beeline is a brilliant innovative and well priced piece of kit. Very easy to set up and very accurate and fast for what it is designed to do. If you get panicked easily you have to remember it is not a gps with mapping and you have bought the wrong thing. It's designed to enable you to explore routes you wouldn't normally try because of getting lost but Beeline will always put you back on track. Great fun and the routing option enables a more accurate selection of routing. Well done Beeline love the idea and excellent fun to use. I am a cyclist as well and it's as good at that offering 2 pieces of kit for price of one.

If you have a classic motorcycle and prefer style over functionality, and have money to spend on a display, then this is it. I’ve been getting numerous emails about Beeline Moto for several years, but I never found it useful—until I purchased an e-scooter. That’s when I finally considered it. But now I regret it. It can show directions from your phone, but GPX file export fails. And their customer service? Fantastic—they reply to your queries but slow👍🏻. So, think about it. Costly gadget. Navigation: of you're sticking to main roads and highways, without continuous roundabouts which is very rare this never works I missed many as sometimes Moto won't show roundabouts but instead tell keep left or right, some it's show's roundabout signal and signs. So confusing navigation for me.

I rode over 400 miles using this device in both day and night. Here's what I observed: 1) Battery Life-Excellent, indeed lasted the advertised 30 hours and somewhat less with the back light on. 2) Water proof- Seems as so, since I did leave it out in a driving rain storm with no problems. 3) Visibility in Bright Sun-Excellent, the brighter the better. At night back light was easy to read. 4) GPS accuracy and reliability- It appears the APP uses Google Earth, regardless, you must have Internet to Plan ONLY your route. Once the route is planned, you Do NOT have to have internet (cell) coverage for those mountain/desert rides in the middle of nowhere for the navigation to work. 5) Cell Phone Battery Drain- Minimal at worst, I used iPhone 11 pro to bluetooth music to my helmet while it was communicating to the Beeline unit. Some have reported the phone gets hot-I did Not have this issue, and I was turning off the screen on the iPhone while riding. 6) ReRoute ability- It did eventually reroute by itself, but I wouldn't call it expeditious. 7) Phone APP- Really great, ability to pre-plan and save routes was very easy. Map display (if you wanted it on) is clear. Overall APP is simple, usable and well thought out. 8) Bluetooth connectivity- Fast, reliable, low power draw and connects the second you open the APP and turn on the unit. 9) Turn Indications- I had no problem knowing when the next turn was coming up, with the distance countdown, 'Turn Dot' indicator, it was clearly obvious when to turn, go around a corner or round about. There is no voice guidance. but you absolutely don't need it with the big white arrow, turn direction dot and countdown distance. Menus on the unit are very simple and complete. Mounting hardware supplied works perfect for any bike. I would have wanted two more rubber mounting bands in the box though. 10) Firmware Updates- They are automatic when you first connect the unit to the APP. I wish there was somewhere that stated the changes to any firmware updates though. As for customer service, I got a response within 24 hours for a question I had. Overall I very much like the BeeLine, and it really is a nicer and more simple way to navigate on a bike. For folks who don't have power for their cell phone, with the screen turned off, there is much less power draw on the cell phone than running a navigation APP and having to have the screen on! Get it!

A well made GPS with long lasting battery life and portable to carry around. Curious why it is not chargeable using USB type C, but requires a charging cradle that can cause a bit of inconvenience to replace if spoiled. Voice direction require a subscription, which is strange as typical GPS is equipped with voice direction at no additional costs.

Tried a ride with saved route and put phone in airplane mod to save data, work fine till I went of course and couldn’t reroute after back on track, better when connected to phone same as when I used my data on Google maps, or ways, only beeline is compact and less distracting
