This is an essential,functional necessity for a long noodle lover's kitchen tools. The hole gives the measuring device for a single serving of spaghetti/linguini, bucatini pasta, and the teeth grab the cooked noodles. I wish the tines were a tad longer, but they do the job. Got this for someone who is setting a first kitchen in an apartment. Stainless steel is a durable material and can be sterilized and koshered. Good value here and a much better choice than plastic.

Finally found a good replacement for our OXO spoon that has a rubber handle that turned sticky after four years. This is the third all stainless steel cooking spoon I've bought as a replacement. The first spoon was nice but more of a basting spoon with a greater curve/bend in the handle. A keeper but not what I really needed. The 2nd spoon had a slight downward bend lengthwise on the handle that pushed the edges into my hand while gripping. Very uncomfortable to hold and will be returning. This spoon has an upward concave bend on the handle and that makes the bottom of the handle rounded in your grip. It is much more comfortable to hold. It is a good size and more straight and sturdy for cooking in large pots or woks. These utensils deserve to come up earlier in Amazon product searches!

We've been using the spoon and slotted spoon for 4 months now and zero complaints. The spoon and slotted spoon are well built and do not bend when mixing thick or large batches of food. We only cook with 3-ply stainless steel pans and cast iron. If you use non-stick pots and pans this will scratch the material.The handle has no sharp edges and can be hung on a hook. I highly recommend these spoons for anyone who likes well made stainless steel utensils. I'll be buying more so we have enough when cooking large meals. You wont' be disappointed.

Believe me, this is a great back scratcher. A friend saw it on my night table and said “I won’t ask!” Really, that’s all I use this for!

This is such a nice ladle. It is thick and heavy and long enough to go to the bottom of a large stockpot. Really good quality that I am sure will last a couple of generations! Highly recommend.
