Eastman 15 Inch WaterFlex Water Heater Connector, 1 Inch FIP x 1 Inch FIP, Stainless Steel Corrugated Water Heater Supply Line, 447515

Having come across an insane angle I needed to traverse, this was perfect. I'm using both SCH40 & SCH80 with this & it is perfect. Tightens down easily (there is just enough for the tip to spin while the shaft does not move) and not a drop leaking using both paste & tape on connections. Be SURE the gasket is in the unit and the gasket MUST be the one they provide, if it's not there, don't try and put anything but one matching the dimensions of what they provide, or ask for one from the company (lesson learned by me). It is tough to bend, but that turned out to be great since it reduces vibration during fluid flow and thus, puts considerably less stress on connections. Used one for a temporary straight through and, even with several millimeters of "jolt" as the pressure increases 80PSI for well loads, not a drop after over a month. Super light, easy to use and really does a great job if installed properly. I'll try and update with a photo later, let's give it a few months and check back in then :-)

These flex hoses were easy to install and are still performing and leak free after a year outdoors in Florida.

Although a 12" hose doesn't allow for too much flexibility this hose gave us just enough to allow us to install our new water pump. It replaced a prefitted hose from the old pump that just wouldn't let us mount the new pump where we need it to be. Made the new installation quick and easy, would definitely buy this again!

Had to use lots of teflon tape and crank down real good to prevent leaks. Don’t know if that’s necessarily because of these or the other threaded end connection.

Strong, well constructed material. Exactly what I needed to install my water softener. Connecters are strong and rubber washers good quality.

Great strong hose. 15 inch was perfect for my needs. no leaks. Hooked it up from my well tank to the filter. 1 inch both ends.

The connector I received has a larger inside diameter than the usual flexible1 inch connectors. This means that it will not restrict the water flow when installed within a copper or PEX 1 inch line. This was easy to install because of its female connectors at both ends. I just removed the existing 90 degree pipe L configuration, curved this to a comfortable 1/4 circle, and attached it. The seals at both ends didn't require any thread tape for leak-free connections.
