These are good drives. They perform as well as the Dell drives we have in the first array. Hot Swap sleeve fits perfectly, locks in place, and looks just like the stock Dell drive sleeve. The drives register correctly with H710 Perc and initialization of drives was on par with Dell branded SAS drives. Great price - I wouldn't hesitate in recommending these for production servers.

It was the best purchase I have ever made. the company was very quick to ship and the product is excellent. I will buy another one soon.

Purchased 4 drives for Dell R430 on a Perc730 controller. Worked fine and built the server OS. Was going to be used for backup server using DFS and to tape. Got data synced and during first backup and one drive shows failed and raid in degraded state. Had it replaced and right after the raid rebuild another drive fails. Had that replaced. During the raid rebuild on the 2nd replacement another drive fails. Now even if I tried to bring the failed drive back online the array has now failed. Been a huge waste of time. I'm hoping it was just a bad batch of drives but be cautious of using it in a production space. I installed some Dell SAS drives I had retired and they have been working great. Going to be ordering some Dell 8TB drives. Should have done that in the first place.

After replacing the caddy with one from my T330, the drives came up right away and I configured 2 of them as Raid 1 storage for my ESXi system. I currently have several Windows server VMs running on them with excellent performance.

Although the drives work as expected. They do have a bit of noise when data is tranfering either reading or wrighting. Not too noud, but noticeable.

Got these drives for a Dell Poweredge R420 server to expand the SAS Raid. The trays fit normally. The drives came online and added to the raid with no problems.

I received what I ordered in perfect working condition. I’m using it as a parity drive on an Unraid setup. It’s quieter than my other drives.
