I needed a longer chord for my headphones at work because our computers are affixed at a certain location and I need to be able to have some flexibility around my desk. This cord is very long and transmits the signals perfectly. I'm so happy i do not have to sit glued to my desk at a certain angle. Highly recommend!

I work in an office where I often need headphones with music to tune out nearby conversations, but my headphones are not long enough to reach the computer sound port. This is the perfect tool to give me that reach! You have to plug your headphone into the cord with a little force so that it clicks, and then you're good to go. Sound quality is great & the length is excellent. The cord isn't too bulky, so it's easy to tuck out of the way.

I purchased a really nice set of headphones, that had a really short cord (why do they make the cords so short???) and this cord solved the problem. Now I can relax and watch a movie, instead of worrying about yanking the headphone cord out, all the time. Yay! The sound is perfect, no problems. Thumbs up.

This item is advertised as 'Gold Plated', but it doesn't appear to be. Nor, does the package state that fact. Do not order if you expect it to be 'gold' colored or 'gold anodized' in appearance. It is probably just plain, old-fashioned, polished metal. That said, I have placed one (of the two purchased) into service, and it works as I would expect. Good stereo quality and the cable is nice and flexible. Plus, the price is good, especially with Amazon Prime!

Great value for your money

This cable is wound so tight in the packaging that it comes out really deformed. Even after ten minutes trying to smooth it out, it won't lay flat. If it was coiled in a more loose fitting bag it would lay down smooth instead of looking like a bad hair do. I would get something else.
