KRAUS Artec Pro (1 st Gen) Commercial Style Pre-Rinse Single Handle Kitchen Faucet (No Pull Down) with Pot Filler in Brushed Gold/Matte Black, KPF-1603BGMB

I did a tremendous amount of research before buying this faucet for my new kitchen. I learned a great deal about faucets in general (probably more than I wanted to!) and know that I made the right choice. This faucet is built to last, versatile and sturdy. It felt solid coming out of the box and not a plastic piece in sight! It is just the right height and the hand spray feature is a hoot and so much better than the cheesy sprayer to the side featured in standard faucet set ups. The counter area is neater looking, contained, no more worrying about the sprayer tube getting caught up under the sink. If I had one critique it would be that the spigot arm (not the sprayer) is just a little too short so that when rinsing something under it water tends to splatter onto the counter at the base of the faucet, but that minor inconvenience isn't something that would deter me from highly recommending this faucet. Worth every penny.

We purchased the 1st Gen in black/stainless two-tone. I thought the sprayer would pull out, but it does not. The hose the sprayer is on stops at the spring. This means I can't get the sprayer down into the sink easily because the faucet is so tall. I love everything about this faucet except that. Installation was fairly straightforward, hand tighten the main ring under the sink and then two screws tighten it the rest of the way. This thing is built like a tank and is absolutely beautiful. I wish I could give a long-term review, but we've only had it installed about a week and will be returning since the sprayer doesn't pull out.

I read the reviews on this faucet and thought I was making a great stylish purchase to match my bronze kitchen sink. I only had it for about 4 months and the sprayer started to malfunction and the pot filler would no longer turn on. Only the sprayer was working. I notified Kraus customer support and they asked for the batch number and a picture of my faucet so they could send the replacement part. It took a couple of weeks but I received the part and replaced it myself and it worked fine for 10 months. Then it stopped working again. The pot filler no longer would turn and then the sprayer stopped working too. Now no water will come out of the faucet I notified Krauss and I didn't receive a response. I tracked down my original contact person from the first time it stopped working and they replied that it was purchased from a third-party supplier and I would have to contact them. The only support number provided by Amazon is the Kraus support number. I looked up the Krauss warranty and it's supposed to have a lifetime warranty. I guess 1 1/2 years from date of purchase must be a lifetime to Kraus! I will never buy another product from them. I have had faucets last 15 years and work perfectly for the entire time. It gives my kitchen a beautiful touch.

This is easily the most beautiful kitchen faucet I have ever owned. It also works better than any I've used. The faucet is the first thing guests remark about when they see my recently remodeled kitchen. I was reluctant to purchase such a large faucet for my very small galley kitchen but it fits the large sink perfectly. I see complaints about the inability to pull the sprayer down into the sink and that it causes excessive splashing, however this is not a problem when used correctly. The water volume and pressure is infinite so lower pressures do not splash, yet does a fantastic job of rinsing dishes and the sink. I cannot comment about the sprayer magnetic seat removing paint on the sprayer but I cautiously guide the sprayer into it's seat. I will update this review if this seems to be a problem. I can safely say I highly recommend this product.

7 month UPDATE: The spray handle gets stuck on spray mode! I’ve unscrewed it and cleaned it out, tried everything but it still gets stuck on spray mode and the button will not release to regular mode. Very frustrating. I will contact Kraus to see if they can send me a replacement spray head. This is a beautiful l, well made faucet! I did have to get used to the sprayer only working while the button was pushed. I’ve grown to like that feature because I no longer get sprayed accidentally when turning in the faucet. This was always an issue with my other faucets. If the spray button was still engaged; it would make a mess when I turned on the faucet. It also scared me too lol! Anyways; this is a lovely faucet and I just love the way it looks in my kitchen. It matches my hardware perfectly!

ATTENTION, n'achetez pas ce produit !!! En fait c'est du matériel dz fabrication Américaine, qui d'ailleurs m'a été livré d'Angleterre et la très mauvaise surprise est que les raccords sont au standard USA. Ce n'est pas le même filtage et diamètre que chez nous, donc il est impossible de le raccorder. Après avoir chercher pendant un mois, même chez des professionnels, il n'existe pas d'adaptateur entre le standard USA et le standard France au niveau des raccords de plomberie. Donc ce produit est A FUIR, NE PAS ACHETER.

Could not find any faucet like this one. Where I can use a spray when I need it and it is not a shade one from the typical faucet.

Excelente producto super bonita de alta gama, muy elegante facil de instalar. Llega en un embalaje bastante bien cuidado.
