Diamond Tread Aluminum With Compression Latch

Product just arrived this morning, but my initial impression is that this is a solidly built, professional grade truck box. Not a ‘toy’ like many similarly priced boxes out there (I paid $420 +tax for this one) I had previously ordered a similar sized box on flea-bay ($450 +tax), which arrived damaged and was returned for a full refund. By comparison, this Buyers Products box is very heavy duty and a fine work of craftsmanship. Everything appears square and straight, no dents, no bulges or apparent warping. Finish is shiny and scratch free. The fabricators who are working on my truck seemed impressed with it, and even more so when they heard the price. The only nit I have to pick with this box is that the weatherstripping around the door wants to fall out. I’m going to have to use some silicone adhesive or something to keep it in place. But overall I still give it 5 stars, and I believe that I’m going to be very happy with this on my work truck. _________ First update: got my truck back from the fabricators and the box looks great. Everyone at the shop loved it. I have no hesitations with filling this box and stacking my window cleaning ladders on top of it. I also plan on anchoring my ladder tie-downs to the side of the box with bolts and washers. I would never have attempted that with the flimsy ebay box. After being opened a few times, the gaskets appear to be staying in place better. I’m going to hold off on the silicone adhesive for now.

Very sturdy construction. Doors seal nice. I ordered 2 of these at one time and they both came with the same key number, so the keys were interchangeable. Would buy again

Got 72x16x18. Good looking welds and a sturdy thick walled material. Doors have a real beefy feel to them without any wobble. Definitely getting another one for other side (wanted to test out first).

Screws aren’t screwed in all the way plus the top wasn’t sanded properly so I cut my finger trying to get it out of the box and realized it wasn’t sanded properly

Idk why there are negative reviews on here. I would be the first to say if they were not good. I bought one and was very surprised at the quality of the build. I’m a welder and the welds the guys made on my new box are very good!! They Did a excellent job!! I did see one review where a guy said the box is like a aluminum can. They are not steel. They are aluminum diamond. Your not going to be able to stand on any aluminum without some give. For what they are; they are excellent!! I’m going to buy another for the other side of my truck soon.

I like the product. Looks good. Durable. Not flimsy. Strong. Holds up in the weather.

Needed extra storage but didn't want a traditional cab guard. Bought 2 of these and made a mount for them plus installed a winch below them. Bolted the boxes together, installed foam mat on the bottom of each to keep stuff from sliding and loaded them up with tools. 12,000 miles later and no leaks and all is good.
