Top Stitch Heavy Duty Thread 33 Yards-Sand

What can I say? It's Gutermann thread! I used this particular thread to top stitch over faux leather when assembling a purse. This top stitch thread stood proud over the faux leather which made for a much nicer, more professional finish to the purse. I'm very happy with this thread as it made a nice contrast stitching on a robin's egg blue faux leather. Anyone who sews and crafts would do well to use Gutermann. I love Gutermann for quilting and even hobby sewing projects. It does not fray and stands up to the machine needle motion very well. There is also much less lint production with Gutermann vs other brands.

The color was a little brighter than I expected but the thread itself is great. I used it to hem overalls and it went through three layers of thick denim no problem. Looks like it would survive heavy labor and lots of washes. I don't know that I'd use it with a double needle but is dense enough that you don't have to. Love it.

I couldn't find this exact color and weight thread anywhere. Why have I not learned to look here first. A great quality thread for hand sewing when you need a heavyweight thread

Sturdy thread, good heavy duty option.

Super durable. Its smooth so it glides easy through tough fabrics.

The strength is surprising albeit the thinness of the string. Not recommended for tufting unless you are using low density foam.
