Really Nice Weather Station Unit
My old weather station finally gave up the ghost so I needed to order another one. After looking at several different units and reading the customer reviews I decided upon this model and I am convinced I made a good choice. The unit is very easy to set up and install and it works great. The sensor unit is very easy to install on the outside of your home using and the main screen is large enough to see all the displayed information clearly but yet it's small enough to fit nicely on the night stand in my bedroom. The main display panel is very nicely organized, displays the information clearly, has a host of control buttons on the side of the panel that allows you to control and program the functions of the unit and the color display is really nice and very effective in making the data easy to see. The sensor uses 2 AA batteries and the main display screen has a plug in chord for main power as well as accepting 2 AA batteries as a backup power source. You can use it with just the batteries if you wish to but in this mode the main screen operates at "low" light intensity level. With the power chord the screen stays fully lit up, although you can adjust this setting and lower the lighting level from "high" to "low". At the "Low" setting you can still easily see the data but it won't light up your bedroom at night when your sleeping. I haven't used the "frost" alarm or "temp" alarm as I have no need for this but if you want to you can set both of those and the unit will give off an alarm if the temp settings you programmed in are reached. The barometric pressure, the moon phase, the actual inside and outside temperature is very accurate (I compared them to other sensors that I have). It comes with 1 outside sensor but if you can order and use up to 2 more sensors for a total of 3 sensors. I have no need of another sensor but that is a nice feature to have available. I really like this unit and am very impressed with it's function, appearance and performance.

Accurate, Easy to Read, and Very Helpful
The Newentor Weather Station has been a great addition to my home. The display is bright, clear, and easy to read from across the room, and I love that it shows indoor and outdoor conditions at the same time. The outdoor sensor connected quickly and has been very accurate so far. Setup was simple, and the layout of the screen makes it easy to check temperature, humidity, and forecasts at a glance. The only thing to keep in mind is that the sensor works best when placed in a shaded area for the most accurate readings. Overall, it’s a reliable and user-friendly weather station that does exactly what it promises. Great for anyone who likes keeping an eye on the weather without stepping outside!

Nice product, easy to setup
Like the display and modern look. Works good. Clock part is a little small for veiwing at a distance.

Easy to setup and read. High quality weather station.
We live in the far Northern part of the midwest, and with all the terrible weather going on around the country, it seemed like I was always looking for my phone to check the weather conditions. I decided to look for a weather station for the house that would display the current temp outside along with humidity. I was looking for something easy to set up that would sit on a countertop and give us the weather stats whenever we wanted them. I liked this unit because: - It has a big display which makes it easy to read from a distance. - You can add batteries (not supplied) for backup and it plugs into a normal AC outlet for normal operation - Very easy to set up. I took it out of the box, read the directions (which seemed easy to understand), plugged it in, and it began searching for one of its programmed sources of weather information. Bingo! Found a source and started displaying the weather conditions for my location. - It also displays the current time and date which I did not have to set up. - I like the display which shows both outside weather conditions and inside temp/humidity. It is colorful and looks great sitting on our countertop. My only other comment involves the wireless sensor that you place somewhere outside your house. It also has a display that shows the outside temp and humidity. Not sure why you need a display on the outside sensor, since it will probably be located someplace that might not be readily accessible. I have mine in a shady spot off the front porch under an eve so that I can't just go outside and look at the display which is small enough that you have to be fairly close to read it. So, I guess it is a nice to have but not necessary depending on where you install the sensor. After using this for a week, I have no complaints. It works great, agrees pretty closely with our local TV weather, and was reasonable in cost. Update: I have to change my rating slightly. I have had this weather station for a while now and it is still a nice device. But I live in far North of Illinois, so Winter gets pretty cold up here. We have had a nice warm streak but recently the temperature has gotten down into the low 20's and high teens and the cold has caused an issue with the remote sensor. At around 20 degrees outside, the inside base station lost the remote signal and was just displaying - - for the outside temp and humidity. I thought maybe the battery on the remote unit was low, so I put a new battery in it. But still the base could not find the remote sensor and just displayed the - - where the readings were supposed to be. I tried resetting the base by taking out it's backup battery and unplugging it. Then putting the batteries back and plugging it in. No dice. So, I brought the remote sensor into the house and set it next to the base station and waited. After about 10 minutes, the remote warmed up and the base unit picked up the remote's signal and started working again. I tried putting the remote back outside in the cold and the same thing happened. After about a half hour outside, the remote's signal quit and the inside base station was again displaying - - for the temp and humidity. So, this time, I brought it back in, waited for the signal to return from the remote, and put the remote out in the garage where it stays warmer - no lower than 30 degrees. And the base and remote have worked fine since. When it warms up outside, I will put the sensor back out. But fair warning - It appears that this unit is sensitive to cold temps and, at least my remote, quit working when the temp gets around 20 degrees and below. So, if you live further South where the temps don't get so cold, this unit should work fine for you. This product has amazing distance when the remote is working. I have a brick house and the base unit is on the East side of the house next to the far wall. The garage is on the west side of the house and the remote signal has to travel through a brick wall, go outside, and travel through another brick wall to get to the base. And since I put the remote in the warmer garage for now, it works fine. I like the quality of the unit - feels like it is worth the money. And the display is colorful and you can set how bright you want it to be. If it wasn't for the cold weather issue, it would definitely still be a 5-star review. Update on 12/13/24: I contacted the seller regarding my issue with the remote not working in very cold temperatures and the seller got right back to me. They are very easy to work with and solved my issue by sending me a new remote at no cost. I also didn't have to return the old remote that had issues in cold temps. The new remote works great in our very cold weather right now! I am including a photo showing that the remote is working fine sitting outside in 9 degree (F) weather. Earlier this morning, it was only 1 degree (F) showing on the base and it was up to 9 degrees when I took the picture. The seller was very gracious and I got the replacement remote in just a few days. It works great and I am a happy buyer and would definitely recommend buying any product that the seller has on the Amazon store.

Love the bright graphics and accuracy
Excellent weather station. Loved it so much we bought a second one for my In Laws who are near 90 years old. They love the nice clear display they can see from anywhere in the room. The barametric pressure forecast is amazingly accurate. Super easy to read and understand with a right side and a left side. Perfect!! The remote sensor is durable with its own digital screen and no problem with the distance reach. A great product for the price

Definitely could be better
Where to start. Biggest disappointment seems to be accuracy. This thing can be fairly accurate one moment and ridiculous the next. I can walk from outside my garage that is warm, to inside which is obviously a sauna, only to see that it reads inaccurate. The remote sensor has some small holes that evidently measure air temp and humidity. From what I gather, they are kept small and few as to avoid issues of it becoming damaged because of weather intrusion. I assume this to be the same for the base as well, though it does have more openings. It appears that both these pieces are more accurate if they are placed in a will ventilated area or out in the open. The remote sensor seems to work more consistently sitting out in the open then it does against the wall 1 foot underneath an overhang. Two obvious problems with the is, rain and direct sunlight. Even the surface you mount it to can affect the accuracy just by how it radiates heat. I have a smaller temp/humidity gauge in the garage and these two are rarely the same or even close. I wouldn’t even really mind as long as it’s consistent off by the same amount of degrees. The other issue I have is the slanted back. I have mine mounted on a garage wall near a cabinet about eye height (also feel this might be contributing to inaccuracy because the lack of air flowing about the sensors). When this is tilted, it can reduce the ability to see the screen clearly. I currently have a larger screw that protrudes from wall enough to allow it to hang vertically level. There is only one key hole to mount it, thus it lets it swing to either side. Having the power cord on one side causes it to weigh it unevenly thus tilting it. The power cord isn't that long, so unless you have an outlet really close, the power adapter at the end will just be dangling making it worse. Wish it would have had a flat back with at least 2 key holes to mount it. I had no issues with it connecting remote sensor to base or with time setting accurately. You can see the screen clearly at most angles but it does have its limits and is worse at certain angles. It appeared to me that when sitting on a table, you could stand above it looking downward and it would be pretty clear. However when at eye level, tilting it back just a small amount made it difficult, thus the issue with the slanted back. It was very easy to set up and use the function buttons. I liked that these were on the side because I saw quite a few other brands that were on the back. Fine if it’s sitting on a table or night stand but not so much hanging on the wall. For my use I would have liked them on the face. I thought the color screen was appealing vs a mono tone variation. I bought this because my clock quit working. I also wanted to monitor the temp and humidity outside which my current model was not able to remotely do. I paint and do different task in my garage that benefits from knowing the actual temp and humidity. It’s also important to know what it’s like outside as well If I need to open the garage door. Outside condition can quickly change inside conditions if not monitored. Only needed the clock, temp / humidity reading inside and out and easy to read at a glance. For the most part it does that. Price is better than most big box stores I looked at. However it needs to be accurate, or at least consistent to be of any use. This may be going back.

Great Weather Station, easy set up, brilliant colors.
The wireless weather station was easy to set up as long as you follow the directions. I have had it for 3 days, and it is working correctly. The indoor temperature is about 1 degree off; however, I will advise later after having it for 1 month. I have had other brands of weather stations, and this unit has very good colors. I recommend the unit and give it 5 stars, even with the 1-degree off condition.

I love this weather station
Based on some of the reviews I was concerned that this weather station might be complicated to set up. I needn't have worried. The station itself does most of the heavy lifting for you. Basically, you put batteries in the station or plug it in. Doing both is best so you have a battery backup. Also, with it plugged in the backlight stays on. With batteries, it goes out after a few seconds to save the batteries. Then you put batteries in the remote sensor and hang it outside avoiding direct sunlight and direct exposure to rain. Under the eaves on the north side of your house works perfectly. At that point, the station is already calibrating itself and figuring out the inside and outside temperatures and humidity levels. It is also searching for the radio signal to set the clock. This all might take some time so if things aren't perfectly accurate right away be patient. It will all adjust itself. I did set the clock without waiting for the radio signal and the next morning I noticed that it was off by one hour. The radio signal had kicked in and reset the time and I had failed to set the device for the correct time zone. I fixed that and now the clock is right on. The inside and outside temps and humidity levels seem to be very accurate, at least for general use, within a degree or so. The weather forecast section is based on the barometric pressure trend, whether it is going up or down, and obviously won't be as accurate as an actual weather forecast but it's interesting and fun to watch the forecast, and it will give you a general idea of what to expect weather-wise. The station can be used standing on a table or on a shelf or hanging on a wall. I opted to put it on the wall in our living room where I can see it from my easy chair. The first photo was taken sitting in my chair which is about 10 feet away from the station. The second is also from the chair but standing up. I did this to demonstrate that the station can easily be read from that distance and can also be seen from different angles. I can read it from most places in the room but granted, it is a small room. But the screen is bright, the icons large, and it can be read easily from various distances and angles. The screen is colorful, looks very cool, and is quite eye-catching. People notice it where I have it placed and comment on how cool it looks. The instruction manual is very complete. So complete that at first it looks intimidating. It's not. It includes information about things that the station takes care of all by itself. Read it slowly, take your time. It's a lot easier than it looks. The station provides a lot of information. Indoor and outdoor temperatures. Indoor and outdoor humidity levels. (There's even a smiley/frowny face in the indoor humidity section that shows the comfort level in your home.) It shows the barometric pressure, the trend, up or down, of that pressure, and predicts the weather accordingly using animated graphics. There's a colorful icon that shows the phases of the moon. There's an icon that shows when it's time to change the batteries in the remote sensor. There's a "Histogram" that shows the recent history, up or down, of the barometric pressure. The backlight brightness is adjustable. There are settings that will alert you to extreme outdoor temperatures and frost warnings.. You can even set a wake-up alarm with a snooze button. So the station has a lot of features, some of which, such as the alarm and temperature warnings, I probably will never use, but it's nice that they're there. So I really like this weather station. It does a lot of cool things, does them well, and looks great on the wall. I do recommend it.
