For small screws mostly
Sometimes you need to put a screw into plasterboard and this ratchet screwdriver is ideal. Not every screw is able to be put into soft material with a power tool of some kind, you need to do it slowly and carefully, so as not to strip any thread you are making in it with the screw itself. Or sometimes you only need to turn a screw a few times, into a wall plug. This screwdriver gives more control on depth than a drill or impact screwdriver etc. The only down side I found is two of the 'bits' that come with it are for Philips screws. You only get Philips screws in america, but they are easily replaced with 89mm Pozi bits you can buy seperately, I use WERA 89mm Pozi types of sizes '0' '1' '2' and '3', so all common Pozi sizes are covered. They also fit into the handle for storage, instead of the Philips sizes. Be aware that the cost of replacing all the different bits with good quality 89mm length ones is over twice what the driver costs initially. The handle is a good shape in the hand and the ratchet system is positive in operation. If you only want to turn a screw a half-turn etc. this is the screwdriver you might find handy to have for occasional use, when the powertool is too quick to control properly. I recommend this ratchet screwdriver.

Milwaukee ratcheting screwdriver; very good tool...
I looked long and hard for a medium-length ratcheting screwdriver with some star heads. Finally found this Milwaukee at a decent price. Delivery was quick and secure. The screwdriver heads are all mounted on individual shafts loaded in the body of the screwdriver, quite easy to withdraw. The ratchet head is a standard hexagon fit giving the option of using even shorter screwdriver heads. I have a Black and Decker toolset with heads that fit (they do a screwdriver for this but it is not ratcheting). The ratchet mechanism is easy to use with a simple sliding selector for forward, reverse and neutral. The handle is grippy and a nice size. Good purchase.

Never buy Stanley again
This replaced a stanley ratchet driver that I had for only 4 months before the mechanism fell apart. The higher price of this is justified. The bits are released from their slots much easier and the mechanism is of much higher quality. Like a regular screwdriver, the shaft is the same diameter as the bit for a good few inches, meaning screws which are recessed more than half an inch can be removed, unlike the stanley. The only downside is that this does not take regular bits.

Fine basic stubby.
Get it on sale and it's good value. The bits are good and it works fine. Not the smoothest ratchet. Great for woodwork.

The absolute best
This ratcheting screwdriver has become my favourite tool for at home and working. I have no idea how I managed to go without it. The design is great, it helps me out in tight spots from jubilees, cabinets to carburettors. For the price it is it’s really a wonder tool. Of course it can’t be used for heavy torque jobs, but for the day to day it’s a one stop shop with all the accessories stored and ready to go. It’s so far been dropped from a good few metres, sunk in the river water of a bilge, been covered in soot and yet after a good wipe it’s still asking for more.

A year later
A year later, still going strong. I work as a industrial engineer and keep this tool to hand in my pocket every day at work. I have many other screwdrivers, but this one gets the most use from me. Pretty much every day I use this tool, so naturally it takes quite a beating, and is still going strong. I am very impressed... I have sprayed some AC-90 into the ratcheting mechanism that had seized up only once. I wouldn't be the man I am today without it... 10/10, I am buying another... You should buy one

Top quality tool.
A very well made ratchet screw driver. Ratchet feels and sounds like quality . Comes with seven driver heads of different types. Six are inserted into the handle and the seventh stays inserted in the driver socket. To change driver heads just take the driver head from the socket and use it to push the required bit from the handle. Selected bit goes in ratchet while spare goes into the handle. The driver bits are clearly meant to sit tightly in the handle so they don’t get lost and are not meant to be pushed out with your fingers. I don’t mean to be condescending , but not everyone uses tools regularly so it might not be obvious how this works. Overall I’m very pleased with my first Milwaukee tool. Definitely worth the money and will be buying some more of their tools.
