This thing is great. I had ankle surgery and this ice pack has been a life saver. It has three ice packs inside and I just throw the entire brace in the freezer versus taking out the packs and putting back in. It stays cold forever like hours and the material of the brace is soft and cozy. It covers my entire ankle all around and stays put with the Velcro. I haven’t tried it as a hot therapy so I can’t vouch for that as well as other body parts but it looks like it would work for the elbow because of the way it’s constructed. I love this thing and so glad I bought it. It also gets cold really fast which is really convinient.

I had surgery for a broken ankle, and after my cast was off, I was looking for a way to reduce swelling. This thing fits reasonably well on my ankle. It is held on by 2 velcro straps and can be rotated somewhat or shifted more onto your foot when you put in on depending on the exact area I want to ice. Inside the fabric sleeve are 3 removable gel ice packs. At first I removed them to freeze, but now I just leave them in and throw the whole thing in the freezer. When I first apply it, it is very cold, but the fabric protects my skin. By the time the recommended 20 minutes goes by, it is more cool then cold, so it doesn't seem to be a problem if I leave it on a few extra minutes. Convenient, and does the job.

AHHH, where has this been all my life? I've had horrendously bad arthritis in both my ankles for decades. My ankles are painful and swollen much of the time. This wrap is quite comfortable and allows you to have cold where you need it. When you initially put it on it is extremely cold (which feels great!) The intense cold does, however, dissipate quickly (after 4 or 5 minutes). I would like it to stay ice cold, say, for 10 to 15 minutes. That said, a much less intense cool does linger for longer. It's definitely enough to offer some relief. It's another weapon in the arthritis arsenal. I'm going to contact the manufacturer to see about getting additional gel packs to enable a longer total ice down time. The buyer should be given the option of buying individually or in pairs. I needed a pair and had to buy individually from two different sellers to get a pair; a needless nuisance. Update: Anyone interested, additional gel packs can be purchased at Heartratemonitors.com

I was wondering how to apply ice to my ankle and this wrap solved that problem! Individual pockets fit custom made ice packs. It serves its purpose. The only glitch is that the ice packs don't freeze as solid as I'd prefer but the product still works nonetheless! A great purchase if your ankle or elbow needs a cold compress.

These were great for the price and very versatile fit for elbow, knees and ankle. Ankle fit did not wrap around foot well, but the Velcro straps got it to cover as needed. The ice packs do not freeze to hard; still slightly soft, but cold. Last for about 20 minutes.

Broke my ankle and had to have surgery to put a plate and screws in. Have a lot of swelling. This works great! Have cold on all sides of my ankle and foot and can still move around on my knee scooter without the ice pack falling off! Perfect product at a even better price!

I bought it for elbow Tendinitis. It makes it so much easier for me to use than holding ice packs, but I find it too big for my arm. For reference I weigh 119-220 pounds. I have difficulty wrapping it right enough around my arm because there is more material and it overlaps the cold packs against my skin so I do not feel them as much. Plus I am wrapping one handed. For women who have heftier arms then me and men they will have no problem. I am sure it will be better for ankles.

Product fits well, not as snug around the ankle as I like. However, simultaneously cold pressure around the foot and ankle were needed, unlike other products. Stays cold well past 45 minutes, enough time for use on both feet. Good quality. Perfectly priced. Product did the job for me.
