I recently purchased an old spray rig. It came with an older Honda 5hp engine. I check the engine's compression and replaced the spark plug and it fired right up and ran well. All it really needed was a new muffler and air filter and it would run just like new!I jumped online and found a couple of small engine parts distributors of OEM Honda products. Holy cow they were expensive! I decided there must be a better way... The engine is older, so I didn't think the parts would be available on Amazon. But I decided it was worth a try.I did a quick search on Amazon and turned up the parts from aftermarket vendors. They cost about 1/4th the price of the Honda original OEM products. And even better, they were shipped for free on my Amazon Prime account! I bolted them on my engine, and they look and run just like the engine was brand new!Buy with confidence! This product will work well. Fits my Honda motor just fine. I took the sponge off because I thought it was restricting air flow.

this is a bit lighter built, but should be fine filter material seems to be the same. I got six of them at a killer price.

this air filter except for the color of the prefilter foam it fit exactly where the old one came from. I don't think the incoming dirt particles will care very mush.

Didn't fit my GX110 Type QX. Filter was much taller than the original and I couldn't get the air box back on. Guess not all GX110's are the same, wish I had known before I ordered and waited for it to get here.They need to be more specific about what "types" this fits. My type is a QX (stamped on the side of the engine block). Honda parts lookup must show close to 5-10 different a types of this motor.Return was quick and painless so I have two stars instead of one. I love Amazon for that reason. Returns anywhere else are a pain.
