Yoobure Small Mini Umbrella with Case Light Compact Design Perfect for Travel Lightweight Portable Parasol Outdoor Sun&Rain Umbrellas

I bought this umbrella for my 7-year-old daughter and another green one for my 12-year-old son, so they could keep them in their backpacks for emergencies during the school year. An umbrella in the hands of a 7-year-old girl and her friends isn’t always guaranteed to be handled with care — she would even lend it to her friends to walk across the schoolyard. Still, the umbrella made it through the entire school year intact! The colors stayed vibrant, and the structure remained perfect. I love the size — very convenient — and the case that keeps it neatly stored and protected. Highly recommended.

Compact yet functional!

I really liked how compact and travel-friendly this mini umbrella is, it fits perfectly in its case and is easy to carry in a bag or backpack. It opens smoothly and gives decent coverage for sun or light rain. That said, it feels a bit delicate. I was concerned my kids might accidentally break it, so I returned it. For adults who handle it carefully, it’s a handy, portable option, but probably not the best choice for kids or rough use. Still, I appreciate the thoughtful design and lightweight convenience!

The quality and material are excellent. Perfect for college students.

We bought two of these because we live in Florida and wanted something compact. They are compact which is great. But the strap on the handle is not big enough for your wrist, and even if it was, the umbrella pole slides down unless you hold it by the umbrella part. It does not click closed. The handle is just a little too small even for a compact umbrella. It’s also hard to put up. The button opens it, but it doesn’t click open and has to be forced. So after writing this, 3 stars is actually generous.

Nice good enough for putting in your purse just in case

Bought 2 for trip to Europe and came in super clutch! Easily fits into backpack or purse!

Date Purchased/Length of Ownership: 3/26/2022 (returned 2 days later) Price Paid: $14.94 -------- | Pros | -------- + Fairly easy to open/close (for an adult w/no dexterity/strength issues) + VERY compact (7.1” when closed, NOT including the case) + Case (that comes with it) is good quality & will keep your other items from getting wet + Good 36” diameter for being so small/packable + UPF: Double-layered canopy seems like it would protect well from the sun (not tested) --------- | Cons | --------- - End top/cap literally fell off as soon as I took it out of the case - Canopy had 2 visible stains, even though I bought it New (NOT from Amazon Warehouse) - Shaft feels weak/flimsy - Opening process/mechanism is COMPLETELY manual, as in unvelcro → pull each section of the shaft up → extend the runner up the shaft until it locks into place → reverse each step to close. This makes it a poor choice for children or anyone with dexterity/strength issues. - Wrapping the canopy back up upon closing is more difficult & time-consuming than typical compact umbrella. You literally have to take each section of canopy and tuck it before wrapping the velcro around to close it. --------------- | Notes/Tips | --------------- → This umbrella has thousands of positive reviews, so it’s possible I just got a dud. Either way, I’m glad I tested this at home before bringing it out with me and getting caught in a rainstorm (as it immediately began shedding parts). If I don’t find another comparable micro-sized umbrella, I’d be willing to give this brand another shot. → Good for an emergency umbrella, but insufficient build quality for a primary umbrella. → The opening/closing process is tedious, but that’s the price you’re going to pay for an umbrella this size (in this price range). If you’re looking for something to unfurl quickly to protect from instantaneous torrential downpours, you’re probably better off looking at a (slightly-larger) automatic umbrella.

La super recomiendo ya que el estuche es como si trajera unos lentes, práctica hasta para llevarla en los viajes, no ocupa espacio. Le pongo un 10 de calificación.

The measurements in the image are misleading. This umbrella is a standard size for a small, compact umbrella. Still a great product though and I like the carry case.
