COCOCHOCO Pure Brazilian Keratin Hair Treatment 8.4 oz / 250ml

TLDR: Totally worth it, makes my frizzy puffy hair smooth, shiny, manageable. Hair feels stronger, blow dries faster. I think in the long run my hair will be able to grow longer because the individual strands have been much more resilient after the treatment (don't snap off when brushing or blow drying like they did before.) Hair holds smooth styles much longer and is way less frizzy! I used the Pure on my dark curly frizzy hair about 5 days ago. The application process for any true keratin treatment is long and arduous, and this is no different. Initial application smells nice, but as soon as you apply the heating of your blowdryer the fumes make your eyes nose and throat burn. I ended up putting on safety glasses and my COVID mask even with all the windows of my house open. Next time I'd get a fan going. I used my dryer on hot with a comb attachment and a 360° iron. This is less than the recommended temperature, but my hair still was stuck straight after initial application. I waited 3 days and then washed, and right out of the shower my hair dried with half of its normal frizziness. My spirals had become waves, and my blow dry was 10 minutes instead of 45 minutes. My hair remained smooth the next morning. One note, the product builds up on your hair and until that first wash you will have white flakes especially on the ends that looks like terribly damaged hair. It isn't, when you wash your hair the first time, the excess product will be removed and your ends will look fantastic and healthy. Don't cut your hair until after the first wash. I am just so impressed and am definitely going to buy again in 3 months. This bottle was enough for two applications on my low density, coarse, more than shoulder length hair. I even had enough to also do an application on my mother's very thick hair. Don't expect straight hair if you started with curly hair. This will reduce the curls, but after your first wash you will just have less curly lengthend hair. It is not a relaxer, it is basically a frizz and strength treatment.

This looks great for an out 2 weeks doesn’t last as long as salon quality but it did get the job the done for the mise two weeks after use. The results after the first day were amazing.

I had a keratin treatment abroad recently and loved the results. It lasted about 10 weeks and I wanted to do another treatment but I felt like it was so expensive. I decided I’d try to do it myself, even though I’ve never done anything like it by myself. It was surprisingly easy! The process from start to finish took 3 hours. The worst part was applying the product; the fumes were quite strong. It helped a lot to put an air purifier in the room on maximum strength. I actually used my Revlon blow dry brush to dry it. It worked great! It left the brush pretty gunky but I have the 2.0 version with the removable brush head, so I cleaned it with warm water and clarifying shampoo and it came out like new. I’m genuinely so satisfied with the results! I feel like it turned out better than when I had the treatment done at the salon because my hair didn’t feel so greasy/gunky. I definitely recommend taking the time to remove the excess product after applying it! That really made the difference. Insane value - totally worth trying for yourself! 10/10 recommend.

I buy this bottle all the time. Smell is strong so make sure you wear a mask when working with this product I think it works great. I use it on my mom's hair and it comes out silky straight every time! Definitely she gets less frizz and directions are easy to follow :)

Smells good but that comes at the cost of it actually working. It's not as good as other products I've tried.
