Good food .and the best customer service
My cats really do good on this cat food . Ordered from Amazon. When it arrived the sack was tore clear across the bag and food spilled on bottom of box. Called customer service, they refunded my cost. Because is unreturnable. Customer service was great. I was not expecting them to give me a refund.

Nothing but great things with this food!
My 2 y/o cat adores this food, and we do too! We gradually shifted her over to this food after rescuing her from the shelter where they could only afford to feed her Purina Cat Chow, and the difference is phenomenal. She was slightly underweight at the time of adoption, and a recent trip to the vet has shown her to now have a perfect build. Her coarse, thin fur became noticeably more lush and silky within DAYS of feeding her this. The difference in quality is clear. She has never thrown up on this food (only time she did was when we tried a low quality wet food) and passes very healthy looking stool once or twice a day. She loves to drink water, although we still do prefer to supplement her daily diet with a bit of Blue Buffalo wet food to boost her liquid intake. We also found out that she was a bit ill with a respiratory infection after taking her home from the shelter, and I strongly suspect that this high quality, nutritious food helped her recover more quickly into the playful, rambunctious, and affectionate cat that she is. I know there are seemingly endless options of premium cat food out there and it can be daunting for old and new cat parents alike, especially around the stream of controversies and recalls that keep occurring with so many different brands. As a loving and devoted cat mom, I can safely say that my 2 y/o is extremely active, playful, and happy on this food and it has been nothing but a wonderful experience to have her on it, and I thus highly recommend this food! By the way, the first bag I received came with two holes in it, which I discovered after seeing some of the kibble on the bottom of the Amazon box. Concerned with the potential for contamination from the punctured bag, I contacted amazon through the website. They called me to fix the issue withing MINUTES of my message, and immediately set up a replacement shipment that arrived the next day. If you have any issues with the shipping/packaging, I urge you to contact Amazon immediately, rather than stay disappointed and/or develop a grudge, as they have excellent customer service!

Fussy cat approved!!
My fussy cat was refusing to eat her Blue Tastefuls dry cat food anymore, so I tried this Blue which is Grain-free, and around fewer ingredients - and she seems to like it. Especially since it’s a similar (seafood) flavor. It is kinda pricey & I wish it came in a smaller size.

Grain-free and high fiber; a rare find. Happy cats.
All of our cats had serious digestive issues. One in particular needed a vet-recommended high fiber diet to stay regular. We wanted to get "healthier" grain-free dry cat food because most of the cheap stuff uses corn gluten as a main ingredient. Most of the dry grain-free cat foods were less than 2% fiber. Blue Buffalo Freedom Grain-Free Indoor is 7% fiber, the highest of all the grain-free dry foods we looked at. Our cats have a bowl of chicken flavor available all day and they get the fish flavor as a treat in the evenings. They seem to love it, especially the fish flavor. Plus, we were able to take the plugged up cat off laxatives with the high fiber diet. The ingredients are still questionable to me: Tapioca starch, peas, potato starch, powdered cellulose, flaxseed, sweet potatoes, carrots, blueberries, cranberries... those don't sound like normal cat foods. Compared to most other dry foods, however, this definitely seems to be a good choice. Our cats have been eating it for almost two years now. Update: Both times we've bought the fish flavor in an 11lb bag our cats refuse to eat it. I don't know if it's a quality control issue or finicky cats. We've had no issues with 11lb bag of chicken flavor or 5lb bags of either flavor, but we won't buy fish flavor in 11lb bags anymore.

I like that this is one of the few (only
I like that this is one of the few (only, actually) of the better-quality dry cat foods I've found that does NOT contain fish somewhere in the ingredient list. I'm trying to get away from fish to see if it improves the smell of their poo, as suggested by others. My 2 kitties are almost through with their first 11 lb. bag, and they like it, and the smell is more pleasant than the other Blue Buffalo types they've tried (not fishy.) Still working through the fish-filled canned food surplus I have, so don't know for sure what the impact will be on their poo smell. [Edit] Now after some time of using both canned (Wellness turkey and beef & chicken flavors) and this dry food with no fish in the ingredients, I have found that their poo is far less stinky when they are eating ONLY the canned, with none of the dry food at all. I didn't really notice a difference in their poo smell between feeding them this Blue Buffalo Dry food, or the Wilderness Chicken Blue Buffalo dry food. Both pretty stinky. But not as bad as when they eat canned food with fish in it. That can make us open up all the windows and turn on all the fans no matter how cold it is outside! [end of edit] However, I am wary about just how much of those fillers (potatoes, peas, & cellulose) are in there. I can't find info. on what the protein to carbohydrate profile of this food is. (And would that reflect how much cellulose is in there? I don't think that gives any nutritional value...but also probably doesn't add carbohydrates. It probably just makes the food less nutritious, but cheaper, per pound. Don't know what the heck cellulose is doing in there other than making it cheaper to produce. Maybe it is less harmful than other carbohydrate fillers?) If they gave a detailed nutrition profile, so I wasn't worried that it was just gimmicky expensive junk comparable to the cheaper junk on the market, I would likely be convinced to be a regular customer. But without knowing, I am left wondering if buying this expensive food is a waste of money
