Parts2O FP4875 Shallow Well Jet Kit

This kit is necessary to use the Flotec FP4322 and Flotec FP4312 pumps for shallow well applicatons (where the jet is at the pump instead of at the end of the pipe through which you draw the water). Since I was using these pumps to replace Sear Hydrojet pumps, jet parts were not necessary. This one kit was ordered to back up my 30 year old parts collection. It comes with both shallow and deep water jets. Seems identical to my old parts in materials and construction.

Have to install still

I had cause to replace my pump, and decided to replace this kit that was attached to it as well. After installing the new pump and kit, I found that the pump would prime, but not build pressure. After many hours of troubleshooting, I put my old used kit back in, and my problem was solved. Turns out there is an internal gasket in this that you can't see without taking the unit apart. The unit I purchased had the gasket improperly installed, and it cost me a lot of time and aggravation.

I love this kit. A complete set for my water pump. These parts are more expensive if you buy them separately.
