I always loved playing Monopoly growing up, but one of the challenges is how long the game can last. Monopoly - A House Divided is a fast-paced game that ends when all the properties -- aka the states in the election -- are purchased. The game pokes fun and yet celebrates the election process in a non-partisan way. Really ingenious how the design takes all the parts we love about Monopoly and riffs on them to incorporate elements of the political season like executive privilege, voting, campaign headquarters, fundraisers and much more. Played it once already and planning a boardgame brunch for this weekend with Monopoly-A House Divided as the main event.

Bought this game as a gift and it looks super fun. Haven’t tried it yet, but love the theming.

We enjoyed this version of Monopoly. My son loves everything about politics. It was a cute gift for him. We played a few times. Easy and not as long as regular Monopoly. I don’t see us playing this often, but fun with occasional play.

I purchased this version of the game because it was the least expensive option I could find besides the classic, and I wanted something fun and different. I actually love this version of monopoly and my fiancé and I had such a blast playing. It really is not your traditional game of monopoly, I was on the edge of my seat the whole time. I highly highly recommend this version of monopoly to anyone who has an interest in us politics, or is extra competitive.

Low price gift for someone.

Tried playing this a few times, none of the family members enjoyed it. We have read the instructions several times, and with the Whitehouse, it's pretty much the person who has it would be the winner. This one that we received also have cheaply made.

Maybe I’m not from the US so this game not suitable for me.

I haven't played the game yet after I received my box yesterday so cannot comment on the 'fun' part of the game. Since it looks interesting, hence I purchased it. However, one of the things I noticed rightaway was an error. If you flip over the box, it seems that somehow there was a design/ printing error done by Hasbro Gaming wherein the arrow that should point towards 'I Voted' cards is pointing towards 'Executive Power' cards and vice versa. Hopefully the manufacturer fixes it!
