BMW 82110399145 Windshield UV Sunshade for E90/E91 3 Series/M3

I've had one of these for years. Works much better than the standard foil double bubble style shades. Its evident when my dash is ambient temp, while the foil side of the sun shade can nearly burn my hand. It's also cheaper than the Covercraft UVS100 (of which they are identical) and bonus, this has a BMW logo.

Got this to keep the black interior of my 328 cool on southwestern days. It fits perfectly in the window. If it was maybe 1/4" smaller in each direction it'd be slightly easier to put in, but it's still easy enough and it doesn't fall down as you flip the sun visors down to keep it in place. And it works - the car is significantly cooler inside when I use the shade than when I don't.I really like the folding style shade - I have roll-up shades for my other cars, and they are a lot more cumbersome to stow when I get in the car, especially if I have someone else in the front seat. The folding one just collapses to the middle and I toss it in the back in a few seconds.I think it's kind of silly that it says "BMW" on it since I already know what kind of car I have, but all the other cars in the lot have ones that say "Ford' or "Buick" or whatever, so at least it fits in. :)If you leave your car outside during the day in a warm climate, a shade like this is worth the money in comfort and in reducing sun aging of your dash and seats. Highly recommended.

Like the look and fit, waiting to see how it lasts

Love this because the material is hard,durable and i feel it protects more against sun than other ones. Even though i have my windshield tinted. I don’t like to feel the heat when i get in my car because im very sensitive to sun and heat.

Does an amazing job of keeping the car much cooler when facing the sun. I purchased it to prevent fading of car interior and it should do that as well but have been slightly surprised at the degree at which it keeps the interior cool. Installing it and taking it down is easy but I feel like the "one armed paperhanger" when doing so. Very light weight but still sturdy and fits very well.Update: purchased a second one of these as the first after several years (5 years ?) was starting to show its age. I actually put it on and off sometimes in a single day so it got a lot of use. The second one is very much like the first except it does seem to be slightly larger. Fits fine but does fill all the spaces better than the last one. These wear out by the constant strain on the edges from installing and removing them. The sewed joints still held up but were getting floppy or soft which seems to be the best way to describe it. If I still have the car I would still buy the shade again if/when this one wears out.

The price maybe a shocker; however, it is worth every penny. It isn't Summer yet and the temperature is a very hot 87 degrees where I live. Before, I would get into my 2008 Bimmer with hesitation because my black leather seats have burned my back and legs like a firey oven. Yesterday, I tried out my new BMW Factory OEM sunshade in direct sunlight. I was amazed at the difference in how the seats felt. They were barely warm, but remember to also close your sunroof shade for optimal cooling! It even comes with a gray leatherette carrying case which I didn't expect. Great quality and very sturdy not like the flimsy ones you find at gas stations or auto stores.

When I first started to use it I noticed the heat in the car was not as hot as with the other shields I have been using.
