I used this product for thread chasing on mild steel pipe. No issues - die nut sharp and cuts well. Product made in China and no issues with its quality.

Needed it just to chase some corroded threads (Male and Female) on a galvanised pipe. Did the job easily and effectively.

I wasn't expecting great things from these but they are too soft for cutting threads in steel, maybe copper or soft stuff. Tried it on steel tubing, first run the tap lost the tops off all the teeth. I was hoping to get at least one or two decent threads out of it. In the bin already. You get what you pay for. Can't recommend.

Works as it should only used for a few threads so dont know how long it will last.

The tap showed damage to some of the cutting edges.

Competatively priced product used for clearing existing threads.
