have purchased so many packs of these guys, absolutely love the ease and versatility they have as i have made so many custom light fixtures now with just HUE LIGHTSTRIPS AND SUCH for fam, friends, parties, etc. i ALWAYS get compliments and questions on where to buy whatever i had made (example in photo) out of just imagination. if you know how to use simple building tools, it’s a breeze to modify these with other various parts to make an entire nightclub-like chandelier. the kit itself with its pieces is a little bit… unfriendly at times.. the brackets aren’t as durable as i hoped, even after purchasing the metal extenders from the same brand. easiest thing to do is get all your pieces out, drill pre-measured holes to run the cables though them and hang or use to attach to various other things. 8/10 for sure. will always be coming back! (please make an updated version with better mount clips or some holes already drilled) 🥲

Before buying, I was going crazy trying to figure out how to join the channels together. Simple offset the diffuser to the channel. Use the diffuser to keep the channel together. My kid helped me lift 16 feet of this off the floor to the wall and it stayed together. Used the Govee LED strip. It looks 10 times better now. Also I did cut the diffuser and aluminum track with a dremel the get the notch going then finished the cut with a hack saw. One more thing, I did email customer service to see if they had a solution to joining the tracks together and they did email me back quickly to try to help find a solution. All around I’m happy with the product. If you don’t want dots get better lighting like the 144 mm led strip. I’m just happy to not see an ugly wire strip.

I purchased the spotless diffuser with hanging ropes and here are some tips: 1. To obtain truly spotless you need 96 leds/m minimum. 2. Amazon says you receive 5 pieces of hanging rope, this is incorrect as I received 10 pieces of rope. 3. The part where the rope attaches to the LED channel is a bit too small, causing the small metal piece that is inserted into the channel to fall out. You will need to tighten it carefully as to avoid this. 4. The pictures of the hanging LED lights on this listing are strange as they do not depict any sort of wiring. You will need to factor in power/ground/data lines. To obtain a clean look, I purchased a 3 wire cable that I fed and zip tied along one of the steel wires up onto my ceiling and routed that down to the controller using cable covers to hide it. 5. I tried to look elsewhere to find these specific hanging ropes and found them on Amazon's competitor; however, shipping would of taken 4 weeks. The cost of the hanging rope was around $2 dollars per rope, so you end up breaking even here on Amazon.

Very easy to install and everything you need to mount is included. The diffusers worked well but did not completely wash out the led diode but did well enough. Choose a high led count when you pick a strip as this will ultimately impact how well it looks.

This diffuser along with the Govee M1 are perfect together!!. As you can see in the photo, the light is solid. You do not see the individual LED ligths on the strip. You need to use a LED light strip with min. 60 LEDs per meter. I recommend Govee M1 the color is amazing.

Pro's: Nothing, literally nothing. Con's: Why on earth are the clips made to go AROUND the channel, when there is a slide in slot like for the hangers? There is no reason this shouldn't be seamless if you chose to use the clips. The clips are terrible, and barely hold the channel. Certainly not securely. The plastic doesn't hold in the channel, it's very loose and can pop out super easy. They don't diffuse properly as they are not thicker in the middle, they are the same thickness across the plastic. Very disappointed as I'd hoped these could be used in a visible location, vs underlighting, but they are not good enough for that. SO expensive for what you get, really hoped for something of a better quality for basically twice the cost of the competition.

We watched a video that showed the various different diffusers and these were what we saw would be appropriate for what we wanted. They are perfect. Easy to cut and stick in best with double sided tape.

Used for under cabinet strip lighting in kitchen. Easy to install but could have had about 6 more clips for channel mounting (reason rating is not 5 star). Diffusers do an excellent job smearing the point light from the leds so they are not easily discernible
