Rough Country Cold Air Intake for 2012-2018 Jeep Wrangler JK | 3.6L - 10550A

I put this intake on my 2017 Jeep Wrangler JKU. Took me about 45 min with the help of my 3 year old. Everything fit perfectly. See an increase of mpg. Not a huge jump but anything helps in these jeeps. You can see a significant change in the throttle response, a little pep in her step. The intake got rid of the high pitch whine that the stock intake has. The instructions weren't very clear but use some common sense and it's pretty easy to install.

Great product most definitely can tell the difference. The installation was simple if u have common sense and basic tools. Installed on my 2017 Jeep Wrangler Sport 3.6L. Is a must if you add bigger tires.

Definitely noticed a little more pep in the acceleration and the motor now sounds mean and throaty when I step on the gas pedal. Definitely a cheaper option than K&N with the same results.

Affordable, easy to put together, and install. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the hole for the MAF sensor is a bit too big and the rubber gromet in the kit wiggles around a little with the sensor installed.... still works and hasn't caused any issues, just isn't as good as it could be. Aside from that, its a nice set up for my Jeep JK.

For the money this is a good product. I don't do water crossings, so I'm not worried about sucking water in. In addition to the air intake I also installed a throttle body spacer, a new turbo muffler, and a Superchips tuner. I am getting .8 mpg better. The best part is the sound and the feel. The the throttle response is definitely better. I installed the tuner the day before and that made things a lot better. The air intake and throttle body stepped it up another notch.

Easy install. 15-20 minutes. Looks good, fits well. I have a ‘17 Jeep Wrangler Sahara Unlimited 6 speed, and around 2500rpm you can definitely tell audibly. My wife even agrees, it’s her daily driver. MPG’s seem to be about the same(17-17.8). It has a 4” lift and 35” tires on 17” rims. It’s not as pretty as a K&N, but it’s not the same price either. We’ll continue to see.

**update** it’s been about 5 months since installing this intake and I have definitely noticed an improvement in response time, possibly better fuel economy, but I enjoy the sound so I tend to lead foot it😂. I’m just starting to work on my jeep myself and I installed this on my own with some visual guidance from my husband. It went on easily and the instructions were clear and easy to follow. I haven’t driven it as of the time of this review, but I’m planning to update the review after a bit.

This is the best air intake kit that I ever installed. Over a 55 year of working on automobiles I probably installed over 200 air intakes so I know quality and price and insulation. A lot of other companies like K&N you're paying for their name and that little sticker, they give you so you can advertise for them. You guys are paying them more for the same product that you can get for less and you are advertising for free for K&N. That's why you really don't see them paying for advertising ad's because you guys, Are giving them free advertisement by installing the stickers. Rough Country Cold Air Intake Kits are the top of the line kits. Rough Country products are excellent that you can count on high quality products at a fantastic price. I can honestly say I never had any problems with any of their products. Im not getting paid for promoting their products I don't represent Rough Country. I just believe in giving a Real honest review of a good product and a good company no fake testimony, fake interviews, fake pictures, just real facts from a real hands-on for over 55 years old school mechanic.

Easy assembly! Great sound quick delivery! Made a huge difference

Upon inspecting all parts when package received. Noticed half inch long steel metal buhr hanging down inside air intake tube (off of where factory drilled and attached metal tube for crankcase vent hose to attach). Metal buhr would have eventually broke off and sucked into throttle body. Tried calling Rough Country customer service line about six times, Only to hear same thing "the customer you are trying to reach is unavailable and busy signal". Poor quality control checks, and no customer service, would definitely not recommend this product. Returned back to Amazon for refund. Ended up purchasing AFE Cold Air intake from Amazon.
