The price matches the usefulness of the implement. As an 18lb shot, it is solely used as a training tool. Therefore, it is not used in competition. I've searched for many other 18lb shots all of which ranged from $150 to almost $500. All of which made no sense because it cannot be used in competition. Therefore, the overall purpose of the shot and the natural durability of it matches the price of which it is sold.

I have purchased a number of shots, discus', hammmers, and javelins of the years from amber and have never had a problem with any of them. The things I have bought are not olympic level, but they work very well for my needs,

Gift for my HS daughter who throws shot, discus, and javelin. She calls it the Gobstopper. It’s a iron ball, there’s not much to go wrong. Great price and she likes it, I’m happy.

I appreciate the availability of a good practice shotput shot.My son competes with a 6lb shot so it is nice to have a 3kg shot with which to practice.I expect the paint to be removed after a few years of sandblasting during practice. I may get another.

I ordered a white 4lb one but instead got a red one. On the box it says red but it looks more like pink/orange. Delivery was about 5 days or so.

Well, not much to say, since it is a SHOTPUT. This was considered used, but excellent condition. I received the item in outstanding condition and it was packed very well. Not even a scratch, so I don't think that it was ever actually used. I have now used this in competition and it is well suited for its purpose. Would highly recommend.
