I’ve been using this collagen for a few weeks, and I can already see a difference in my skin and hair. My nails feel stronger, and my joints are less stiff in the mornings. The powder mixes easily with juice or coffee and doesn’t have a bad taste. It’s a great supplement for anyone looking to improve their overall skin, hair, and joint health. Highly recommend!

I have been taking various collagen products for a few years now. Mostly for joint repair and maintenance,as well as skin health. When I ran out of my normal powder, I decided to see if I could find a similar product for a lower cost. Doctor's Best is a company that has a good reputation,and it's collagen powder is very competitively priced. It's a few dollars cheaper than my normal powder. So I decided to give it a try. Now,collagen isn't one of those supplements that you will be able to feel on the first day. It takes time and daily usage. There are some studies that show regular consumption of collagen can help repair damaged joints as well as help skin look more hydrated and fuller. This powder is virtually tasteless and mixes well. I mix it into 1 cup of hot water along with a tablespoon of cacao powder. This makes for a very nice tasting warm beverage,but you do not need to mix in cacoa if you do not want. The powder does not have a real distinct flavor on it's own,which is a great thing. Ever since starting collagen a few years ago,I have softer and more hydrated skin. I am a man in my 30s and people,mostly women,comment that I look younger. That's always a plus. I have also noticed when I run out of collagen powder and skip it for a few weeks,the ache in my shoulder returns. It's from an old injury and collagen definitely helps it. I take my collagen on an empty stomach,usually when I wake up. The studies done on collagen have the subjects taking it this way as well,so that is something to keep in mind. Vitamin C also helps with collagen synthesis,so you can take a Vit.C supplement along side your collagen for added benefits if you wish.

Dissolves quickly, minimal taste, not sure if it works or not

I have purchased this collagen on more than a few occasions and feel that the Doctor's Best brand is excellent quality as well as the best value. My skin is extremely sensitive and dries out very easily, particularly in the winter. I have noticed that since I've started taking this (in conjunction with the other supplements I'll list below), my skin feels much better and definitely retains more moisture. If I forget to take this regimen for a few days (though truthfully, it's just out of sheer laziness versus actual forgetfulness!), I can definitely FEEL a change. When taking it, the skin on body feel much more supple, and definitely smoother. While I do not have deep wrinkles on my face as of yet to say if it would effect those, feel that I have a "softer" appearance overall regarding fine lines. I take this first thing in the morning on an empty stomach, in conjunction with Liquid Hyaluronic Acid Joint Support Now Foods 16 Oz Liquid , Ester-C 1000 mg with Citrus Bioflavonoids American Health Products 180 VegTab and Good State Liquid Ionic Silica Supplement, (48 servings at 125mg each plus 2 mg fulvic acid) . I blend this powdered collagen into flavored water, mixing with a fork. There are a few small clumps doing this, I personally am not bothered by this but perhaps others would be. I believe you have to take this, at minimum, 45 minutes before eating anything to allow it to absorb properly. I'm not a breakfast person so this is no issue. Overall, I would wholeheartedly recommend this collagen, ideally with the other supplements I have listed because I believe they work in conjunction with one another.

Easy to use. No taste and dissolves well in any fluid. Bought my 3rd one. I am not sure what it is supposed to do.

I use this several years ago and I really liked it. Helped with my nails hair and even my eyelashes. But when I went to try it again, I noticed it was now owned by a company in China so I did some research and emailed the company and I was told the ingredients were sourced from all over the world. Which is what they all say, I said well I need to know the ingredients in it. And I was told that someone would get back to me. Well, that was about three months ago and no one ever did. So knowing that we have a problem with things coming in from China, dog food, cat food, etc. and being that this product is so finally ground I just worry if there’s something in there. So I’m not going to use it anymore. I’ve use the “live conscious” brand and find it dissolves a lot better, and there are no clumps and it doesn’t make my coffee taste as thick as doctors best does. However, it does cost three times as much as Dr’s best. So I am done with trying to find a collagen that is affordable for me.

I have been using this for a couple of years now and think it works great! Value is great too. Would recommend, and am a regular purchaser of it. My hair seems to have stopped thinning so much. dissolves well in my smoothies.

Great product. Love to make smoothies!! No flavor and perfect to mix with anything!!
