What size is the kibble?

The salmon kibble isn't very thick but it's Very Wide to swallow. 1/2 lnch X 1/4 inch. I wouldn't recommend it for smaller dogs. I can't speak to the size of the chicken kibble.

My dog always gets grain free food and treats. We have always used Taste of the Wild (Salmon) and were wondering if anyone likes this better?

Taste of the Wild has a strong salmon smell but surprisingly this brand here is even stronger. My dog just loves it and the smell doesn't fade much after being opened like most other brands will.

In one place it says no chicken by product meal and then the second ingredient is chicken meal. Which is it?

WHAT is chicken digest?

The item featured in the picture is the Salmon Recipe version. sold here. There's chicken meal added which excludes "chicken by products" and chicken fat also listed in the ingredients panel. However, this ridiculous rant about "'Animal Digest" focuses more on the controversial issue of what is meant by "animal or chicken by products " listed in some manufacturers dog food ingredients. However, that doesn't apply here. Granted chicken fat is added to this salmon dog food recipe. However, many people use cooked chicken fat as well to flavor their own human grade recipes and who am I to question that. The topic of "animal digest" has no place in discussion here when reviewing this product. What is the motive behind it?. I question whether it was possibly added to garnish more likes to a specific reviewer's profile for whatever underlying reasons that person may have specific in mind.
