Hi. Does this piece work for either right or left ear? And also, does it include the back side of the headband that snaps into place? thanks

Hi,my friend,the right and left side is the same,our product all has no words print on,but fit for right and left. this is on include lower side,the upper slider is not very necessary to be replaced if it is also Broken,due to all the pressure is in inner lower side, so we always Just replace the inner lower slider and use some glue to stick the outter loop,then it will work ok.

Can this part also be used on the wh 1000xm3 since it looks a lot like it? I’m having a very hard time finding the right side inner slides!

Right hand side perfect. Left hand side is defective.

I am happy with the right hand side. Therefore no issues with the right side. Not so happy with the left that is why I give it 3 stars. See images for left hand side fit. The part does not fit and the inner grove is too tight. Therefore causing stress on the part. I know this part is going to break at some point due to the fact that it is under stress. Overall both parts screw holes seem to hug the screw. We would see how long it lasts . In addition, the seller recommended using tape. Tape does not fix the issue. Is not about the part separating. Is about the inner groove being too tight that it forces it to expand. Definitely looks better in comparison to the other replacement part in Amazon. The other parts seems 3D printed and this seems and feels more legit.

Fit perfectly!!!

Fit perfectly. No issues replacing the broken part. Replaced on a forgot generation 1000x pair of headphones. Will e buying another to replace the other side. Takes a long time to get to you but worth the wait and MUCH cheaper than buying a new pair of headphones. Thanks heaps!!!

Not a secure fit

Even after tightening the pieces back in really tight, it's still loose enough to derail when you move the earpiece. The ends of the rails don't quite seat into the channels tightly and flex just enough to pop out. Once you get the two pieces properly affixed, it definitely requires glue to stay.

Replacement for Sony WH 1000xm2 headphones

My wife has a pair of beige Sony WH1000xm2 noise cancelling headphones and they’re awesome. Except for the fact that the headphones are prone to cracking. This piece and about 5 mins of time with a YouTube instructional video and we were back to a “like new” pair.
