Simple tool-less install with minimum preparation, just simple surface cleaning with alcohol wipes to make sure adhesive sticks the best possible way. It has been a while since something I purchased just simply worked LoL! I just hope it lasts as it is made out of plastics.So far appears to be doing its job really well and it has successfully survived my initial absentmindedness yanking on the fridge door wondering why isn't it getting open? This was inevitably resulting in the A-H-A moment every time I realize that latch is engaged and simple button push gets me to my cake... Wait did I say cake ? I meant my food and other necessities ... Right?After an easy installation It will take a day or two to get used to an extra step separating you from your favorite snack and / or beverage but then no more aggravation with energy hungry appliance gobbling down power because door was accidentally open, not to mention that it will significantly extend the life of its compressor...

To start, this arrived 5 days late... when buying with 2-day Prime. Already sour taste.Then it arrived (hooray!). Go to put it on and realized my fridge doors stuck out about 5mm further than the actual fridge. These locks need to have the doors flush. (Ugh). Luckily I found a wooden shim that was 5mm and GLUED it to my fridge (so classy, eh?) I then attached the locks. They “worked” for a day. They are kind of a pain to open though... like, literally a pain. My fingers HURT trying to open them. Today is day 2, yes day TWO, and the sticker that holds it on is ALREADY COMING OFF!!!! So now I Gorilla glued the locks on. WTF. So when this thing fails again (Which I’m pretty sure it will) and I want to pry this piece of garbage off, it’s going to be stuck there forever.All because I didn’t want my 3 toddlers raiding the fridge like a bunch of raccoons.

I put one on my freezer and it works great. I put a large bag of ice in the freezer and it shifted and pushed the door over, ever so slightly, but it was open and had I not noticed a few minutes later I could have lost alot of valuable meat. I then place a 50 pound weight in front of my freezer door so it wouldn't happen again. Then I found this and put the 50 pound weight away. It works better and takes less room than a 50 pound weight.

We have a fridge in a back room that opens randomly when a door shuts. This works somewhat, but the sticky isn't stron enough to keep in place so I've had to re-stick a few times with alternate stickems.

The media could not be loaded. Freezer door would open when frig door closed so I found this gadget and hoped it would resolve the problem! Didn't think it would work because freezer door was not aligned with frig! I used a thick back to back tape to make it even. Then installed the gadget! Glad it came in two sets bc I have 2 frig with the same problem! So thankful for this gadget! It was easy to install but I suggest to fit it on the door first and figure out placement bc adhesive is pretty strong. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

Purchased to keep RV refrigerator closed while traveling. Didn't install as described. Couldn't get it to fit for the 2 sides to connect properly. So the lock didn't work for us. Wouldn't recommend.

I purchased these to keep my mom out of refrigerator. She was diagnosed with frontal temporal lobe dementia. These keep her from over eating and placing cold food in other areas in home which causing spoiled food and wasted money.My mom is smart and figured out how to open the fridge when I only had one lock. Once I added the second lock. She could not open. She just press buttons. I still have to go behind her to ensure she did not open. We are 3 months into using the locks and she did not open freezer for fridge doors. This makes me happy.I will buy again if needed.***I purchased heavy duty double sided tape from Wal-Mart because she pulled off the freezer one and broke it.****

Got These to replace another style of clip we used for over a year. Because of the action needed to open the previous clasp style mounts we had previously, they are starting to pull away from the mounting tape. These new clips are much easier to open and self lock when closing the freezer. Easy for kids to operate.We're using these to prevent our freezer from popping open when kids close the fridge. For that that they are perfect! They also have a nice look when mounted.
