Solid switch
It works

switch hard to turn
This switch is very hard to turn. I find it too stiff for normal use. Sure the switch wont slip and change positions but the force required to turn is too much.

Works and Fits Well
Only issue would that it would be nice if I didn't have to ohm-out the leads to understand which was common vs the selector poles (switch). A small schematic would be nice. Otherwise, seems to fit he purpose (multiple caps for a tone selection). Thanks !

1T8P Rotating Switch.
It's a good Switch. I wish it could handle a bit more current, but it can take and do what I need.

Good switch
Nice smooth movment ....it does switching things.

No Anti-Rotation Feature
This multi position switch is stiff in rotation but has NO anti rotating feature; no index pin on the chassis to tie into the front panel and just a threaded shaft with no flat spot to stop rotation. I am 3D printing a mounting panel and i can create something on the back side. After 37 years of electronics packaging, rookie mistake on manufacturers part.

Overall decent solid switch
This is a well made solid feeling switch so that's good. The two main downsides are:1) It is a bit larger than it needs to be with tabs that stick horizontal instead of vertical adding even more size. You CAN bend them down but they don't feel that solid and a little concerned about fatigue.2) The angle of throw was not shown anywhere. Stupid me I assumed it was similar to most 8 position switches which is a 45 degree angle of throw. Sadly it is not. It is much less than than that. Best I can tell it is about half that which means it won't line up with the labels in my cockpit panel. In the end it is still a good switch at the cost, and includes a knob, that I can use to learn and prototype with but I will need to buy a new switch for the final panel that has the proper throw. Also note that best I can tell there is no limiter that lets you adjust the number of stops, so if you need less than 8 you need to buy that specifically.

Works and will likely have issues as time goes on
The switch is solid and each position works. Unfortunately the mounting has no provision to prevent the body of the switch from rotating over time - no tab or flat spot on the shaft. The contacts work but are just tin, not gold plated. I expect they will become less reliable over time.
