Poolmaster Classic Pro Rebounder Poolside Basketball Hoop Set For Swimming Pool Games

Folks, according to Amazon we last purchased this for the grandkids in 2018! And its still up ! Buying a replacement now but this is obviously very well constructed. These were bought when the boys were 8 yrs old & now they are teenagers.. not to mention withstanding mild hurricane conditions & relentless Florida sun. Excellent purchase & value

I've had this by the pool for 2.5 years now and it has survived game after game of "lighting" with my now 15 year old son and his friends. It has also survived 2.5 years in southern California sun. Yesterday the rim was snapped off the backboard during a Slam dunk contest (the design clearly does not support dunking) so I'm not surprised that the rim broke off.I contacted Pool Master directly and they are able to ship me out a replacement rim (for a small fee) so we'll be up and running again in a week. I'm really happy with the stability and portability of the hoop as well as support from Pool Master in helping me with a fix.Finally I really like how easy it is to separate the backboard part from the weighted base, this makes it easy to hide the backboard and hoop away when I want the pool area to look a little more adult.

Easy to assemble, in under 5 minutes. Seems sturdy, although I am on my way to fill it with water in the base. There was something rattling around in the base when I took it out of the box. There was a small coin-sized piece of plastic that, initially, I thought was the cap, but turns out it is just the piece that was drilled out to make the filling hole in the base. The cap was separate.There was a missing bolt (one that was supposed to be pre-threaded into one of the support poles). The attached picture shows the label that says you need to remove it and save it to attach the backboard. But there was no bolt. Easy enough to find at store, but did require a trip out to the store.

I love playing hoops in the pool and this is perfect for me. My last one lasted over 20 years. I only bought this one because I couldn’t find the bracket I needed online. Of course I did this before calling their hotline which is very helpful, and they had the part 😂

We’ve gone through many pool hoops over the years, in all price ranges, and I have to say that this Pro Rebounder (our second one) is hands down the best. I’ve spent hundreds for a couple that rusted out or broke too quickly, so price doesn’t always get you the best product. This is cheap and durable. The latest one pictured here was purchased in May 2017. I was just using it and it dawned on me that a positive review might be a good idea, since too many of the products we buy nowadays don’t last. And we live in South Florida, where the weather is brutal! Highly recommend this hoop.

Only had our pool open for about a month and bought this and brought it out this season and noticed plastic brittle we had it inside all winter and only used it a couple of time last season.

We bought one of these in may and it has been the most popular pool toy this summer. It has been sturdy and only requires me to tighten up a few screws each month. I could probably fix that with some loctite. Like other comments have said, the included ball sucks so add on a better one.The main reason I purchased this one is that the backboard can be used in different configurations. I have it using the included base right now but it will be no problem to get a PVC pipe that fits in one of the holes on the side of my pool and mount the board on that. Great product for the price.

Picked this up for under $70 from Amazon Warehouse after watching it since end of last summer. It's actually a pretty good value for the money. It takes about 15-20 mins to set up (most of that time is actually in getting the net attached to the hoop!) but once it's set up it's pretty nice. It's a good size backboard and the ball is decent for a 'pool' basketball game for kids.That said, by no means is this anything more than a KIDS version. Despite it's size, it's durability is questionable if you play with adults. There can be no slam dunking (you'd tear it apart) and I'd hesitate to even grab the rim, however if you just want to be able to shoot around in your pool then this is good. It works for us and we're happy with it.
