Nice film camera to go with my XTi
I bought this film camera to use with my Canon digital XTi. I like to shoot both film and digital, and these two cameras use the same lenses, which is a plus. I do a lot of photo documentation, and with a negative in hand, there is less chance to claim that something has been 'photoshopped'. This is important in my line of research. The camera itself is a delight to use, and is light weight. The AF is flawless and very fast. The viewfinder is bright, and the mirror and shutter are relativly quiet, another important quality in my line of work. The grip provides a secure feel, again, which is important in the field. I would recomend the camera body without hesitation. The lens on the other hand is OK, but not great. I do not like lenses without a metal mounting bayonet, so I ditched the kit lens, and replaced it with the better lenses made by Canon. I want a tight, vibration free mount, and I do not trust plastic lens mounts. In all, this was a great bargan, and have already shot several rolls of film with it.

Everything was great
The camera was good. Only issue I have is that there is a crack on the side of the lens and that the anti-slipping material on the camera is falling off so everytime i hold the camera, I get that gooey black thing on my hand. Other than that, the camera works great

Great camera, some minor issues
Bought this camera to get into film photography, specifically for my month long rafting trip down the Grand Canyon. This camera was used so it had some quirks, the main being that while the flash will power up, it doesn’t actually flash. Probably an individual camera issue but one nonetheless. I’ll try and get it fixed on my own but be aware and try some things out, do a test roll of film and try out the features, before you try to use it for anything super important.

Great Product and Company
It is a great camera. The shipping was fast, the product arrived before the date that was suppose to be the soonest it could arrive. Plus the original lens was broken so the company replaced it with a lens of equal or greater value. Over all a awesome buy, I get complimented on it all the time. The only draw back is that there might be a minor light leak, But I don't know if it is the camera or the processors fault.

pretty good
Overall this camera is pretty good the controls are not to hard to learn, and it is taking some good shots for my film photography class. The light meter is working perfectly, which is good considering that some of my classmates can't even produce one or two rolls of good film due to the fact that their light meter has gone wacky. The end.

So disappointed as this was a good brand camera
Received this camera for my daughters photography class and it doesn't work, the film will not load into the camera the teacher suggest we take it too a camera shop to have it cleaned. Took to a camera shop and they examined it and advise that the shutter that is supposed to grab and load the film does not work. The professional camera shop owner advised me to send it back as it would cost me more to get it fixed than what I paid for the camera. So disappointed as this was a good brand camera.
