Soir De Paris by Bourjois - Eau De Parfum Spray 1.7 oz

The smell was just what I remembered. It was the only perfume my mother use to wear. I thought she always smell so beautiful when I was a little girl. She died Dec.2015 so I started wondering if it was still around. My son told me to check Amazon because they sell everything. I was delighted when I found my mother favorite perfume.

I wish I could give no star.... This scent not even close to that what we had from France long time ago...

I remember my mother having the dusting powder in the bathroom cabinet and thought it was hers, as it turns out is was my grandmother's that used to wear it. I researched the Evening in Paris perfume and it stopped being produced in the late 60's. The company that owns Chanel purchased the right to this perfume and had the Chanel Perfumers change the scent. That is why it does not smell the way it used to when it was made by bourjois. I did find a set of the old perfume and dusting powder on line unopened. It was expensive but I purchased for my 90 year old mother and dealing with cancer, I wanted to do something special for her. Do a search for the Evening in Paris from Bourjois and you will still be delighted by this scent.

I had a bottle of this when I was a child. I ordered this for the memory. I will share with my sister.

It doesnt smell that good and there is alot of alchol in it

This is NOT the original Evening in Paris that you remember from the 1960s! I bought this item from the Vermont Country Store and a bottle (original) from eBay-- and the eBay one was the original scent (and in the original bottle). This "Bourjois Soir de Paris" stuff is strong and not at all like the original Evening in Paris. It seems pretty fraudulent to claim that it is Evening in Paris.
