I love this tape! We used it in my classroom to mark boundaries around staff desks and it looks amazing, feels amazing, has a cool glow to it in the dark. Very easy to work with and cut (we used childrens scissors) and it has a paper backing yoy have to peel before sticking so you can easily measure it, cut it and lay it. I do highly recommend that you scrub the floors really well with soap and water and dry it well before putting it down. I made the mistake of not doing so and the tape did not stick very well but as soon as we cleaned the floors and put it down it was stuck really good veey similar to gorilla tape strength! Very good value for what your buying and perfect fit if you are using it for borders/boundaries

I needed to improve the traction on a pair of steps on a lightweight 3-step ladder that I use frequently when washing my truck. The bare aluminum steps always seemed extra slippery when stepping down. I tried out the Lifegrip Anti-Slip Traction Tape (2" wide) - the surface is definitely sandpaper-like, close to 120 grit, which is perfect for my use, but the adhesive didn't seem very tacky - edit Dec 8, 2025 - I've found that this traction tapes adhesion is still holding exceptionally well after getting wet several times over during a SUV wash and hit a few times with a pressure washer. I was wrong; the adhesion appears to withstand a good beating. This is what I did to prep the surface area to give it every chance to adhere at its best: I cleaned all of the surfaces where I was going to appy the traction tape with isopropyl alcohol (90%), then I broke out my heat gun and heated the surface prior to applying the tape. Once I laid down the tape, I used a 2" rubber roller to apply even pressure throughout the contact areas and using the heat gun along the areas I rolled. For the plastic top step, I did the same, but I also applied a thin layer of 3M adhesion promoter. The results came out as expected and after a week of use with some water overspray, the tape is still adhering, even at the corners. I was able to press the traction tape into the crevice areas of the top step (see photos) - the roller definitely helped with this and the tape still holds its adhesion to those uneven surfaces. I think this is a win and definitely worth its modest price.

Very grippy and very sticky, does everything we needed it to do. We used ours on a dog ramp that lets our little teacup poodle climb up into the bed. Before there was raw wood in which her paws would slip on. This solved that issue real quick!

It works well but it does come up easily at the edges. But it does a good job and keeping the surface slip resistant.

Great stuff. It’s easy to cut and forms easily to your application. The adhesive backing is very strong. I added to my boat steps and after one season they’re holding up great.
