Q: Does this have any fumes or fragrance?

I've used this a few times. There are no fumes and only a light fragrance, not unpleasant at all. Your hair feels amazing afterward.

Q: How long does the opened dphue Root Touch-Up Kit last (for the second application)?

I used the second half about 7 weeks after I used the first part. I taped the second half closed after I used the first part. It worked well!

Q: How does this product work? Is it a powder, wax, dye, and does it need to be applied after shampooing, and does it cover solid gray roots well?

It’s a tube and a pouch of ‘cream’ like substances you mix in a bowl. Comes with an applicator brush. Covered mine solid. I’d say higher quality than the normal off the shelf boxed products.

Q: How often can you safely repeat use of this application ?

I love this hair color. It is easy to use and does give a beautiful color. It was recommended by my professional hair dresser in nyc. I have been using it for a year now with no problems
