broke on a single drop
overly costly and a single drop broke it. these are not well built i opened it up to see if i could repair it and it has no padding on the inside at all. the relay is a delicate component and the hair thing switch inside likely broke. some simple foam padding is too much to ask i guess

Giving silent students voices.
These are great for what they do, but are very expensive. They give voice to our students without voices. I personally prefer the step-by-step a little more than this single phrase button, but it still does the job.

great but cost prohibitive for people with special needs and those who work with them
I use these in my special education classroom. I use them to allow my students to interact with their peers, participate in the community (we ordered at Starbucks!, shopped at Target), sell to teachers during coffee cart, etc. We hook the buttons to my computer so the kids can change slides in powerpoint or start videos, etc. I just do not have enough to go around! I cannot afford to buy them. I wish the company would care less about profit and more about helping people with disabilities. I know companies need to make money but I feel like Ablenet is a pretty big for profit business corporation. Having a disability is so expensive and specialized gear is part of that, it's hard for me to understand why it costs so much! It just seems rather predatory. But if you have money then get them! I would if I could. So I took away a star for cost and sometimes the get staticy but I may have the older model!

Rip off
Way too expensive, buy the set of 4 for "dogs" for under 30 bucks.
