Best chocolate ever
These are my favorite chocolate bars. I break them up and eat a small piece at a time. The flavor is so good that even a little piece makes me know I've had something great. I can't find these 70% chocolate bars everywhere so I was very happy to find them on Amazon. I was a little concerned about them being delivered in the summer heat. I came home from work to find them at my door. They were packed in a box with reflective insides, along with an ice pack. Even on this 97 degree day, the bars were still cool inside the box! Thank you for a great delivery!!

Delicious but pricey
This is rich and flavorful and I've bought them before. But they are shipped from the UK and tariffs more than doubled the price. .

By far Best Chocolate U Will ever taste. Missing 1 box- credited...
Excellent taste, fresh, healthy. My favorite chocolate. Only problem is I ordered 2 boxes, 1 dark+ 1 white (10 bars ea.) + was missing the box of white chocolate :( Amazon issued a credit + I recently re-ordered for replacement. Also gel cold packs leaking so inside of box a slimy mess- Didn't hurt the chocolate, individually wrapped +also in a sturdy sealed cardboard box with all 10 bars, slightly crushed. (Have pictures avail on request). By far the best tasting, healthiest (no chemicals or additives) chocolate. Wish I knew about this brand years ago. I used to buy mostly Lindt + few other brands online. Now only Green & Black's chocolate. Thank you.

Great product, not buying anymore
This has been my preferred brand of dark chocolate for well over a decade. It has a great texture and mouth feel, and fantastic flavor. However, the price has gone up substantially in the past 6 months and it is now ridiculously priced, so I have just purchased my last box. $45 is just too much when this was $33 a few months ago and even less a year ago. To the vendors selling these for $50 to $65, shame on you. Your greed is disgusting.

Fresh chocolate, quality flavor!
I ordered this 70% cacao several weeks ago, knowing it would take time to arrive. That was disclosed in the description. I was looking for a comparable yet affordable replacement for that French chocolate that begins with “V” to use in baking. This arrived in great condition. This bars are very fresh with no melting or bloom. The expiration date is a year out. The flavor is excellent, full-flavored and complex, with that bit of bitterness that comes with the higher cacao bars. The chocolate is smooth and rich, with no waxy or gritty texture. This is a very good replacement and I couldn’t tell the difference tasting the V bar from this bar.

Poor Quality Boxes used in shipping
This is the second Green & Black's Organic Dark Chocolate 70% Bar ordered thru Amazon. The Chocolate bars are great quality. HOWEVER, the cardboard box used for shipping, simply isn't strong enough for product stability. Wrapped in a bubble type cushion simply doesn't prevent breakage of the bars. Every wrapped bar in each 10 pack box has arrived cracked, split and in some there are ships, cracked and slivered pieces. Otherwise quality, promptness and ability to do business with this company is great. Just improve the shipping box quality. I can expect some breakage, but suggesting some packing improvements. Thank You!

Heavy metals
So after reading the research and customer reviews I see this brand tested in the top five for containing unsafe levels of lead and cadmium. It also contains nickle. I have ate this chocolate for years. I was going to ask the question but the question section does not allow enough characters to be typed in. Do all you people who have eaten this brand for many many years feel any after effects from this brand? Also several reviewers mentioned switching to another safer brand. There isn't a safer brand , dark chocolate all contains heavy metals so that's a waste of time. The reason I always ordered G&B was because the other brands are dutched and use the alkali process which destroys the antioxidant properties. I might add it may be full of plastics as the news has been reporting unsafe levels of plastic in everything you eat and drink. So now what? Stop eating and drinking water? If you watch the "news" or get on "social media" we are all being poisoned by something. I have trusted Consumer Reports for many years on any subject. I read the review about contacting the parent company and saw the customer reps vague response. I guess it's just one more thing we can't enjoy. Sad to say the least.

Delicious but beware--these bars are tiny! Fine print states 1.2oz
So it seemed like the deal was too good to be true for 20 bars of chocolate, and, well, it was--I won't be fooled again. They are not the full size 3.5 oz bars I usually buy in cases of 10, and while something looked a little off about the photo, the proportions are close enough to the larger size to trick the eye into thinking that for some reason, there were suddenly 20-bar boxes that were similarly priced, so I bought them. The chocolate, as always, was delicious, and the small bars are actually kind of convenient, but I find it very sneaky that the size was buried way down in the fine print instead of in the product title. Seems like fairly critical information, especially since the title contains the word "bars" twice--it'd be simple to rearrange the title to replace the extra "Bars" with "1.2-oz", like this: "Green & Black's Organic 70% Cacao Dark Chocolate (20 1.2-oz bars)"
