5 star blender. Rivals the best!
I recently purchased this blender and I can confidently say it’s one of the best kitchen investments I’ve ever made! If you’re looking for a high-performance blender that does everything a Vitamix can, without the jaw-dropping price tag, this is the one to get. First off, the 1800W motor is an absolute powerhouse, yet it’s surprisingly quiet. It handles everything I throw at it with ease, from tough ingredients to large batches. The 68oz pitcher is substantial, heavy-duty, and feels incredibly well-made. It’s perfect for making smoothies, soups, and desserts for the whole family. One of my favorite features is how quickly it whips up frozen desserts. In just 15 seconds, I’ve made ice cream with the most perfect, creamy texture imaginable. It’s like having a professional dessert maker at home! Smoothies are a breeze too. I toss in halved apples (peel, core, seeds, and all), and it’s blended into a silky-smooth consistency every time. I was also blown away by how it handles hot soups. I made a broccoli soup in about 6 minutes, and it came out hot, creamy, and velvety smooth. It’s truly a one-stop appliance for so many kitchen tasks. The design is sleek and intuitive, with easy-to-use controls and a tamper that helps with thicker blends. Cleanup is simple, and the large pitcher makes it easy to serve straight from the blender. I also love that it’s versatile enough for both home and commercial use—I can see why it’s labeled as “Amazon’s Choice” with over 500 purchases in the past month and a 4.3-star rating from 4,301 reviews! If you’re on the fence about spending hundreds on a Vitamix, save your money and get this one instead. It delivers the same top-tier performance for a fraction of the cost. I can’t recommend this blender enough…it’s a total kitchen game-changer!

Excellent Purchase
As others have said, the knobs all imply things which aren't true; but once you just understand how they work; it's just fine. Push ON/OFF down to turn ON and down to turn OFF. It is a momentary switch. UP will never turn it ON. Next, the speed control. Just don't turn it more than 3/4 of the way to the left or it will slow down, then again speed-up once you've gotten past the 3/4 mark. Simple fix - just don't turn it more than 3/4 of the way to the left. And, finally, the timer. If you're not using the timer, keep it in the START position (what?). And, when you want to use the timer, you choose 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5. And, that's it. This is such a good blender, particularly if you aren't just trying to make smoothies - but want to blend harder to blend foods such as cooked kale or cooked brocholi. As for the fact that it tends to blast the food upwards just when it begins no matter what speed it is set at, for a second; I found a square box which fits inside the plastic food area (but doesn't go down far enough to hit the blades) and, I place that box inside before I turn it on. That keeps the food down towards the bottom so it is properly blended without being forced upwards. A magnficent blender. Don't try and mix bricks with mortar; but as long as you aren't just a fiend with this blender; it should last forever. As for cleaning? The unit isn't really designed to be removed to clean it. There is a round aluminum disk on the bottom with two 1/4" holes which is designed to be removed by a service technician; not you. There is a row of stepped plastic which keeps it firmly in-place; so if you were to try and remove that metal disk; it might not be able to firmly keep its self in place. However, on the top side? It is completely flat without hard-to-clean hidden areas. It's all just open area and flat. So, just add water to the blender after you are done, blend a few seconds, and it will break-up any food that might still be under the blades. A great blender. Don't not get it because the buttons aren't described very well by the names they gave the knobs. Just remember 'DOWN TO TURN IT ON, DOWN TO TURN IT OFF' is the name of the left-most power button. And, the speed knob is 'DON'T TURN IT MORE THAN 3/4 OF THE WAY TO THE LEFT'. Finally, the timer knob... START means 'DON'T USE THE TIMER' and turn it to the number of minutes you want it to work when you want to use the timer. After setting the timer, just press the ON/OFF down to get it to start. That's all. Not really rocket science.

This thing is a powerful beast of a blender!
I have had my blender for almost a year now. I love the thing. My old blender, Oster from 1988, still works perfectly but struggles with smoothies. This thing chews through full sized ice cubes in less than a minute. The power is amazing. Having a large pitcher is also great as I make large smoothies almost daily and blenders work better when the pitcher isn’t full to the top. I did have an issue with brown stuff coming out of the bottom of the blade after I had had it for 10 months. Want-join responded quickly to my email and promptly sent me a new blade and pitcher combo. I bought the 4 year extended warranty because it was so inexpensive. Many newer blenders have plastic parts and gears so they don’t last the way the old ones did unless you spend big bucks and get a really high end one. Given the weight of this blender I would say that most of the parts inside are metal. I had looked into getting a Vitamix a few years earlier, but the price was a deterrent. This blender offers the exact same performance along with extra features for 1/4 the price. I really like having a timer on it because I can walk away and do something else rather than having to stand in front of the blender waiting to shut it off. I highly recommend this blender for smoothie junkies and anyone else who needs power, performance, and quality, but doesn’t want to pay through the nose for it.

Powerful blender and good value for features!
We purchased this blender about a year ago and used it on a nearly daily basis. We already own a Vitamix and have used one of those for about 8 years so we are aware of the differences between them. We got this as a second blender for a small house we built to rent. We ended up using this blender all the time because it's power is very high! The noise is a bit louder than the Vitamix we have had for years but it is still a small price to pay for great chopping and blending power. We had some issues eventually with the rotary dial for speed control and then started to get some intermittent leaking from the bottom of the blending jar that would seem to indicate the bearings were failing. We contacted WantJoin directly who indicated we could just purchase a new blender and they would reimburse us for the cost. We have received the new blender recently and noted some subtle improvements in the rotary dial and some minor design tweaks that seem to have made the blender (so far) a bit better. We also noted the new blender was a little bit quieter than our original one, but the noise was likely due to the beginning of the bearing failing in the blending jar. We were able to reach WantJoin on WhatsApp to discuss the warranty work and they were very accomodating and helpful. We didn't have high expectations when we first bought the blender last year, and despite the issues we encountered we were pleased with how WantJoin handled the issues. We would recommend this blender for anyone needing some high end features and power similar to Vitamix but without the exhorbitant prices. Time will tell how our replacement blender will fare, but we feel that we are receiving good value from the investment made in this powerful blender. We enjoy the timer functions and variable speed control as well as the pulsing features a lot. We have made some hot soups (like we did on Vitamix) with this blender and of course smoothies nearly every day. One subtle difference we have noted from the Vitamix is that this blender does not seem to pulverize small seeds as completely as the Vitamix. This may be a difference in the blade design or sharpness, but it is not a huge problem. Small seeds like chia or hemp seeds can still be detected here and there but our Vitamix really made those disappear. It would be great to have an easier way to sharpen or maintenance blades in any blender jar without concern that doing it would create leakage or otherwise so that over time you can get more value from the blades. Overall, highly recommended for power and value!!

Minor quirks but fabulous!!! In depth review and explanations of its features
Pros: Price, Power, size, capabilities, high torque, adjustable blend speed, auto timers Cons: Vague directions. Does not include the spanner wrench to remove the blade assembly from the blending pitcher required for deep cleaning or should you need to replace the blades. It must be purchased separately but usually these run about $10 USD. Sticker on blending pitcher advises it is not dishwasher safe. Personal opinion and review: First thing first, this is lower end commercial product, stop thinking you are buying a blend tech or Robo-Coupe and then evaluating it as such. If you do not use commercial equipment often then you need to recognize the differences between commercial and residential consumer products. Take time to learn your machine. The switch issue that many complain about is because they expect cheaper on/off switches. These are momentary switches. You press it once to turn on the blender. The switch returns to its original position as it is supposed to. The labeling on the switches is correct, they do not identify the position of the switch, they advise of its function, press down once to run, press down again to stop. Even if installed upside down, the switch will work exactly the same instead you are lifting the switch to turn it on, and lift it once again to turn it off, it’s very straight forward. The pulse switch on the right is a user held switch that shuts off when you release it. These types of switch configurations are normal for commercial products because these are more durable and allow for precise blending of the product once the user understands the settings required to achieve desired blending. . Once again, this is a commercial product so think beyond traditional uses of a blender. Second, recognize most commercial establishments have set measured recipes so consistency. If you not consistently using the same ingredient weight each time you use it, adjustments will need to be made to obtain the desired result. Lastly, the switches are designed this because the machine uses the internal programmed timers to operate the device once the switch is used This allows the user to walk away for extended periods while it is used to do other tasks. The blender will shut off at the proper time you predetermined for your product. Think commercial kitchen and bars, not what the average home user needs but it’s very useful once you calibrate your recipes to your device. The blender will start on the fastest speed to ensure it crushes the product resting on the blades. This is normal of most commercial blenders. If this did not occur the blades would immediately bind and not spin. This would cause the motor to overheat or burn up. The machine will return to the speed you set the middle top knob within 2 seconds. New machines will have an electrical smell for the first several uses. This is because the manufacturing oils on the parts are heating up and burning off. The smell will eventually pass. If you want to speed this process up just fill the pitcher halfway with water and set it on high for 5 minutes. Do this a few times and you will not have the odor when you use it later. Clarifying the controls: since many individuals do not know how to use this machine and the instructions provided are quite vague. I tried to simplify it for you. The far-left switch: press once to activate the machine, press again to de activate. Its our standard momentary switch. The adjacent play pause symbols just tell you what this switch does, not the position the switch should be in to make it work. Round top knob is a speed adjustment. This one is quirky in one regard. When the slowest speed is selected, its actually the fastest. if you rotate the knob clockwise, about 1/4", the speed slows, and you can then adjust it faster by continuing to rotate the knob clockwise. The speed can be adjusted as you are using the machine. Just mark the location of the slowest speed. Bottom round knob The timer selection 1 = 1minute, 2 = 2 minutes, 3 = 3 minutes, 4 = 4 minutes, 5 = 5minutes. Start = no time/continuous run. Stop = stops the machine . You rotate the knob from the start position to the stop position to turn off the machine or you can press the left momentary switch and it will shut off as well. In either case, the machine shuts off Far right switch: Pulse switch. When pressed, this causes the machine to turn on at the highest speed regardless of the setting of the speed knob. When released it will shut off the machine. You can also use the switch during operation at any speed or time. it will give the blades a quick pulse of full power for as long as you hold the switch. once the switch is released, it returns to the setting you had selected and shuts off when the time is completed if a timed blend mode is selected. Special notes: Always ensure the machine is well ventilated. It draws in air on the bottom sides to cool the motor, and the air is discharged from the bottom rear. if you do not allow proper ventilation to keep the machine cool, it will burn up quickly. Due to the high torque of the motor, when using the machine with products of high viscosity, it will try to rotate and move on counter. If your are not paying attention, it could fall off the counter or into a sink. You have several options. You can replace the feet with heavy duty suction cups to prevent movement or glue a wide diameter foot pad on to the base but always ensure the device has enough air flow to keep it cool. Thick oatmeal is a cheap product to use to ensure the device does not move when you are using it. With this being a high-speed blender, you can heat products by blending due to the friction of the blades (you also use this to allow your frozen smoothies to slightly melt a little to blend to the perfect consistency without the addition more liquid. I tested 1 liter of tap water at 70°F with the speed on high for 5 minutes. The temperature rose to 184.5°F This was measured using a calibrated Sper 800008 thermometer. Overall: I love this product for the cost and power. I prefer to have the spanner included with the purchase but by not doing so, it keeps overall cost lower. Blades and shaft spindles can be purchased at any restaurant supplier once you know the size you need. Just take your pitcher with you and most places will find you the right product. As of right now, I am satisfied with my purchase. I will update this as needed, if there are no updates then it is still working well for me. I hope you enjoyed this review.

Downgrade from 5 stars to 1star!!!
I wrote an initial 5 star review for this product one my first purchase because that initial product that I bought was good. In fact, it was so good that I decided to buy another one. When I first decided to buy another one -around April 2020, the product was not in stock. Then around July or August, I was delighted to see that it was once again available, so I purchased my 2nd blender. The first blender came and I noticed that the timer was not working properly. So, I gave the company the benefit of the doubt and returned the defective unit and asked for a replacement thinking that the defect was merely a fluke. The replacement product came and it had the same issue with the timer knob. Testing the unit further revealed an issue with the speed control knob (see video above). At the lowest speed setting, the blender speed goes fast, then slows then in about a quarter of the way and then speeds up again. The ON-OFF button was also different from the first blender that I bought. Instead of the normal 2 position ON-OFF switch, this one was a spring loaded switch (similar to the Pulse switch on the left). It still worked but I wondered if this was a true design change or the improper type of switch installed. Why the massive downgrade? Similar defects (timer knob issue) on the same product. The second product that I examined also had two defects plus a design changed or a wrong part on the replacement unit. It could just be bad luck on my part that I got the only two defective units in this batch of product but I chose to see this as a manufacturing flaw. The initial product was good. So good that I gave it a good review (see below). And that unit is still working great. However, that initial batch ran out. The product was not available for a while and then it came back to Amazon. So what happened between the first and second batch of the product? I can't tell you for sure but here's what i suspect- after initially establishing a good reputation for it's product, the company experience an increased demand for its product. Due to the increased demand, the company had to increase its operation by either increasing its manufacturing capacity or by subcontracting some of the work. Either way, some of the good manufacturing practice and/or Quality Control procedures got lost in the expansion resulting in the production of this substandard batch of blender. If you bought your blender in 2018, then I think you still got a great product just like I did and I stand by the review I wrote below (that's why I am not erasing it). If you a trying to buy a new one now, look for another brand. DO NOT BUY THIS ONE!!!! Previous 5 star REVIEW: Super powerful motor. Appears to be a steal at less than $90! Blending power is outstanding. From crushing ice to creating a fine oat milk, this blender works as advertised. I also like the dial control for increasing the speed of the blender - instead of the 5, 6, or 8 button (between crush to puree) that most other blenders utilize. Nice added safety feature of the blender not running unless the pitcher is properly installed. Just be careful of the two protrusions at the bottom of the pitcher, if you break them, then your blender won't work. I am not a big fan of the timer in the middle. You have to turn the timer on before you can use the blender. The timer is a wind-up mechanism, so it's not like I can use this (nor would I ever need to) to fine tune my blending duration to seconds. I gave 4 stars for the noise level but I expected a motor pulling 2200 watts to be a little bit noisier than a 1200 or 1500 watt blender. MY only misgiving about this product is the poor format of its instruction manual. However, I didn't deduct to many points of this because operation is really simple. The only warning bell for me is that the manual does not say where the unit was manufactured. Looking at the blender itself, there is also no clear indication or label saying "made in XXXXX". So far, I am really happy about the performance of this unit. The materials used for this product appears to be durable. I am going to reserve the rating for the equipment's durability for both the motor and the blender blades. Overall, I think, this is a steal at $89. I will provide an update on the durability rating as soon as I have put more hours in using this blender.

Great product
I recently ordered this product and I must say that I am very satisfied with it. I love the size as it makes drinks really fast. I also love the jug as it is light weight and not glass. This is a must have

read review I really like this blender
First this is an honest review and forget the stars and read my review. I bought this to replace a broken vitamix 5200. My vitamix motor and lid are still great but vitamix wanted 169.00 for a new pitcher. Is the vitamix better you bet, but read on. I am retired and mainly blend smoothies, tomato sauce for canning tomatoes and blending soups. This does this very well, repeat very well. The pitcher cleans as easy as the vitamix. Put some water in pitcher and turn blender on high. Rinse and repeat and turn upside down in a drain board to dry. Equal performance on cleaning. For those that say a vitamix is easy to take apart, that is wrong and a waste of time. For those that smell the motor burning a little bit I do notice the smell but feel like it is not burning up but burning off some thing extra from factory. I have used this for a few months and love it. I am 66 and with today's economy couldn't afford a new vitamix. I gave this 3 stars because side by side if you have money or commercial application the vitamix is 2 stars better. For value of price would give vitamix 2 stars because only 3 year warranty which should last longer. You could buy 4 of these for same money. I would give this blender 4 or 5 stars for value. Never been paid for a review, just a retired person trying to get by and dealing with this supposed 5% inflation (they must think I am ignorant or can't do 3rd grade math in my head). I will update my review if I find it to be better or worse and my reviews are always fluid. Many things from overseas don't last until 30 day window has passed but many things do last several years and am hoping this is one of them. If I wasn't clear wouldn't recommend for commercial application, but I do a lot of canning so I use this probably more than average residential use so I am half way between commercial and residential for my needs and it has worked perfect and if it goes out next month will change to 1 star and if still going in a couple of years will bump up one star. Hope this helps if you are on the fence as I didn't find reviews prior to my purchase that answered what I needed to know. Based on this review the seller thought I was unhappy which is probably a misunderstanding. I would buy this blender in a heartbeat. The motor does have a partial smell and if it ever goes out will update review. I updated this review from the beginning of this paragraph. The seller has been really amazing and wants to make sure I am happy which I truly am. Again, not paid for this review and would highly recommend this blender to anyone on the fence
