I was very pleased with these dog treats. The health of my dog is very important to me. I was attracted to the product as it was made in the US, had no added corn, soy, colors or artificial flavors. The pieces were not as hard as other brands I have tried; and easier to bend, break or cut. And best of all, my dog loves them.

I can't say enough good things about the Wag Chewy Whole Muscle American Jerky Dog Treats – Chicken & Flaxseed (1 lb). These treats have become an absolute favorite in our household. What I love most is the simple, healthy ingredients. It's reassuring to know I'm giving my dogs something nutritious without a bunch of additives or fillers that could cause an allergic reaction. My dogs go crazy for this jerky, and it's the special treat they always look forward to. It's gentle on their stomachs and never causes any tummy issues, which is a big plus. My dogs (one little, one medium sized) love these, but the quality is inconsistent. One bag might have evenly thin pieces of chicken jerky that have just enough moisture to provide some flexibility and allow me to hand- tear them into smaller pieces as treats or for training. Another bag might have really thick pieces that my little dog finds too challenging to eat as-is and are very , very difficult to tear or cut into smaller pieces. Another bag might have jerky that has been dried too long, are really thick and are rock hard. Only my bigger dog can eat these and my little dog is left out. The quality and consistency of this jerky needs to be addressed. The process is decent when these are on sale. If you can wait until Amazon has their various Prime Days or during the Holiday season, buy a bunch to last you until their next event.

Not only do my dogs love these but my cats love them too! I have to cut them into small pieces for my cats but they love them just as much as my dogs. Its my cats that are the first to smell them when I get them out so they must smell really good. They're really fresh because my cats won't eat anything unless its fresh. They're good and chewy for the dogs but soft for the cats. Its a great value for my money because both my cats and dogs love them. Its a good healthy snack for both my dogs and my cats.

My little dog is a very picky eater. Out of all the pets i've had in my life, she is the first to ever turn her nose up at a treat. That being said, one of her favorite treats are these chicken jerky strips. She goes berserk for them and can identify the specific sound of its bag crinkling from the other end of the house. The jerky comes in very generously sized strips, great for medium to large dogs. Since mine is small, I usually break a piece in half for her. It is still sizeable when in two pieces. The treats do not smell bad which is a rarity in the pet food department. I like that there are only five ingredients that are easily identifiable. Chicken is the first ingredient, and they are made in the US which is awesome. These are a great value, especially considering how many strips come in one bag. This is a good way to reward your dogs in a healthy manner with high value treats without breaking the bank!
